I will no longer buy new white athletic shoes. Nobody remembers how cool they looked on Billy White Shoes Johnson and Joe Namath except people like me who plod around on gimpy knees. White athletic shoes are long out of fashion and I will no longer embarrass my family members by wearing these to ball games or walks around the neighborhood. This pair especially, since when I walk on sidewalks or pavement the right shoe squeaks like a rubber duck. Once these are no longer fit for mowing the yard then I'm done.. But I AM NOT giving up my jean shorts ... damn it. I have jorts, love jorts and will continue to buy new jorts as long as they sell them a walmart. I'll give up my jorts when they pry the last pair off my cold, wrinkled buttocks....
With me doing all the travel softball for years it's amazing what you can stuff into those extra pockets. Water, food, sunblock and on and on.
When you die (assuming you are laid on your back post-mortem) your buttocks will become very flat very quickly. Just a pleasant FYI for your Monday!
i know someone that purchased a pair of all white New Balance shoes very similar to that photo.... does that make him no longer cool / trendy and or a bad person? Asking for a friend.
WorsterMan: MY guess is he is an outstanding person. ...maybe a trendsetter with LONG horizons. If he lives a few more decades the style gods will vindicate him!
While by no means a fashion expert, I did see this: These Are the Best White Sneakers We're Buying in 2021 My whites are coming out of storage!
So there is hope my friends plaid bell-bottom slacks with a 34 waist line will come back into fashion soon!?
Can they be worn without acquiring sponsorship from Dunlop? If so...it could happen. I said COULD, not that it WOULD...
I think my friend still has one pair left that he kept for historical purposes. i do know the friends waistline is far too great to ever wear them again
My friend is also the proud owner of a Pet Rock, still in the box with the straw.... for any of you old enough to remember that marketing gem!
Just for grits and shins if you're interested in trying something else, look for Hoka and try a pair on. My wife had foot surgery a couple years ago and her orthopedic surgeon said they were the best on the market so she got a pair and now owns three. That got me curious so I got a pair and they are the most comfortable running shoes/sneakers I've ever worn. They are also the only line I've seen that offers anything close to the (although admittedly not quite as many) sizes NB does.
I have to wear Hoka’s for my foot drop. They are only ones I’ve found soft enough so you do not hear me coming from a mile away.
10.5 4E, doesn't matter what style...any New Balance 10.5 4E fits me great. Even my golf shoes are NB.
