I had never heard of TSL. Looked on the internet, and have to wonder who is in charge of their marketing. They are going to be playing at Rice Stadium, yet I have seen no advertising on local TV or billboards.

Rice has a pretty detailed list of ticket purchasers in their athletic department; not season tickets, but onetime buyers. I get weekly emails from them. Going to the east end and giving away free and cheap seats would create an instant fan base.

Who is in charge of this soon to be defunct product?

I agree. Never heard of this league. People are hungry for football and they could get some fans if they made any effort. I feel the same with FCS football. Sam Houston State is playing for the national title today with relatively little fanfare.

They have been on every local news cast on all four networks in Houston for over a week, particularly ABC.

First I heard about it was when Sangre posted about it today. And I follow sports.

I don’t know if I would call it censorship, but around here they’re all over Baylor’s jock. UMHB, too.

Ryan Mallett playing QB? I was really pissed when Mack Brown gave him the ultimatum.

The Generals should be named the Alligators since every WR they have has alligator arms.

    Sabre, they don't care:

"Not only does the TSL not pay its players, the league charges a $2,000 fee for the opportunity to get on the field.

The fee is waived for anyone with NFL experience or who has been to an NFL training camp, but no one on the field gets paid.

Before COVID-19 forced sport leagues into bubbles without fans the TSL was already operating from hub cities and has no aching interest in attracting paying customers."

evidently they survive on what Fox Sports pays them.
