Really he is playing well. These past few weeks are clearly not a fluke, and he has every likelihood of having a chance in every tournament. That itself is remarkable.

Jordan is getting towards Top 15 all time money leaders at 27. $ 2 million won in last 2 weeks has him moving up.

Edited with new facts: When the PGA updated rankings this morning Jordan moved from 17th to 15. At 18... after pulling ahead of Jordan at 17 briefly. is another 27-year-old. Justin Thomas, the PGA's leading money winner so far in 2021.

After the third round, I adjusted my expectations--decided I would be rooting for him to make it to second on Sunday. With those slightly reduced expectations, I thoroughly enjoyed Sunday's round. Good job, Jordan!

Jordan, the record setter. Spieth is the only one to have birdied the 10th hole all 4 days in the history of the Masters tournament, according to the announcers yesterday.

Also, remember, he tied Tiger's record of 18 under at the Masters (in 2015 I think), and I sincerely believe he very well could have broken the record. I say this because it appeared to me that he took his foot off the pedal a bit on the 18th green of the final round.

Maybe he can take Sark's refresher course... you know, "All Gas, No Brakes".

I see H Matsuyama sitting at #1 on the final leaderboard.

I see nothing has changed my days of Fuji Golf that came on most 90's MS based computers. That dude killed me...

At 9 strokes back, can Saturday be moving day for him? Perhaps. I sure hope so.

Good to see Lefty win at 50 years, 11 months old. It's especially impressive with his health condition, Psoriatic Arthritis, which is an ugly disease.

The crowd loved it -- almost too much. They mobbed him on the 18th. Looked like it was getting out of control.

Koepka cried about it afterwards like a little baby. He has never been one who seems to like the fans whatsoever.

Are you unaware that Koepka has a recently surgically repaired knee? He had a legitimate concern for real physical risk.

Oh yes, I am aware. What does that have to do with my comment? He has always been a baby. No need to agree. He also spews foul language in post round interviews. He's a jerk. He acts like Mr. Tough Guy but cries about his knee. So, he had legitimate concern. Did he get injured from the crowd?

Had he won, it would be another Fleck over Hogan, Cink over Watson type win that no one would care about except the story of what could have been.

I think that has to do with his demeanor and lack of seeming to care about winning non Majors.

Guys like Phil and Spieth and Ricky are adored because they treat the fans with respect.

You can bet they will have better crowd control in tournament play going forward.

Oh and I’m not saying there wasn’t jackassery in the crowd. There was.

Gotta add, to be fair, that I’ve never been a Mickelson fan. True, the win was epic and unexpected, and he deserves plenty of credit...which he is receiving. The guy has just never appealed to me.

I'm in the same boat. But after this win I've seen some really cool videos of him and the crowd, kids, etc during his rounds. Now that he's 50 I think he's lightened up and is enjoying the whole process. Seems to be much more likeable these days.

I think that Spieth will win the PGA championship one day and get that slam.
I would just like to see him play with a little more spit and vinegar, a little more get out of the way i'm coming through attitude. I think that attitude will serve him better.
I am all for being cerebral on the course but sometimes I think he overdoes it. Go for the flag more.
I remember in a recent tournament he and his caddie had a disagreement on what approach shot to play. Spieth wanted to play a more dangerous shot but believed in himself and he performed a good shot. Makes me wonder if he listens to his caddie too much and plays too safe.
He doesn't have to worry about money so go for the gusto I say.

Pretty much agree with this assessment. He has a unique skill set that few if any on the Tour possess. The Palmeresque ability to pull off miracles, and do so with regularity.

He’s having a good year, after three or four poor ones. If I were advising him — and that will never happen — I would tell him to think less, and enjoy the fact that he can do things perhaps no other golfer can do. “Just go out there and make it happen.”

I always liked him and rooted for him against Tiger in their head-to-head matchups.
He stopped and gave a disabled kid in a wheelchair some kind of souvenir on Sunday. Always seemed like a decent guy to me.
