Sorry I’m late, people. Busy day.

A player from my time on campus: Amarillo’s Rick Fenlaw draws a bead on Elvis Peacock (behind Odessa Permian’s Joe Bob Bizzell) in a 13-16 loss to OU in 1975. Shown also are OU’s Joe Washington (sans helmet) blocking Bizzell. Steve Davis looks on.
As you LHN guys know from a number of Texas-Arkansas replays, Fenlaw was the defensive MVP in DKR’s last game in 1976, when he was a team co-captain.

It is a pleasure when we pick up a good one from Indian Territory.

Thanks. I had forgotten his name - but he certainly was the key to that tackle by Clark. If he gets suckered in on the reverse and leaves his spot, ou scores easily. Reid stayed at home and turned the RB back to the inside where Clark could make the hit.

My seat was on the 2 yard line about 40 rows up. I had a perfect view of the play. One of my 3 favorite UT plays of all time.

Agree. I rank it up there with "He's going for the corner - he's got it" and "Right 53 Veer Pass."

Ricky's run for record against A$M as Tony Dorsett runs down the sidelines with him cheering Ricky on. Great play commentary by Brett Musberger???

As much as Musberger drove me batty, that was a good call.
Tuckers adios MFer kick in Kyle Field to end the series is still one of my favorites.
Like a movie script- the Ags score late and were busy doing one of the 542 movements they do.. thumbs up, waving towels, that weird hand clasp index finger point, interlocking pelvises and swaying.. planning to get drunk at the Dixie Chicken, saying Howdy or Whoop to each other, or whatever-
Case sets it up. Tucker nails it. I had tears in my eyes watching those Ags blot theirs as well with those lil white hankeys. No Howdys, no swaying, hands no longer pointing just excuses.
