Big pay raise for Jimbo: 9 mil for ten years, 3 yr extension.

 

Jimbo is a million dollar coach with an eight million dollar OC

 

I’ve got no ill will, but JF doesn’t last 1/2 of that contract.
Now that UT is in the mix, Aggie loses a game or two and those Ags will melt down
They seemed happy being somewhat mediocre in the SEC as they could at least chant SEC over and over, but you let Texas beat them a couple of times and the honeymoon is over

 

I understand that makes JF the second highst paid coach in CFB and just a $100,000 per year shy of Saban.

 

So three MORE years of an empty trophy case?

That is a hellaciously expensive case to be sitting empty.

 

It's not about vicktrees, it's about status for them. If they pay their coach the same as Saban that translates...to them...that their program is on the Alabama level. Win's don't matter to them because they'll just make those up anyway.

 

If you count the spring game, that's one more aggy football victory!

And just retroactively claim conference or national titles ...

 

Maybe instead of chanting SEC, SEC after corn-holing Kent St Saturday-they chant “9 million, 9 million” proudly whilst interlocking pelvises and swayin to and fro.

At this point though college football is dead and it favors the aggy money whip philosophy anyways

They'll do what they've always tried to do; buy their way to a championship while using 'values' & righteousness as a shield

With NIL & the current college football landscape honestly this is their time if there is one
