Jerry World?

Now that we are going to join the SEC, are we going to play at Jerry World. You know Jerry Jones would love to see us play his beloved hogs or even ATM game there. SMH

The only time I want to see the inside of JerryWorld is in December when the UIL State Championships are played there. $15 a day & $10 parking. Why do I fell like I'm screwing him over at those prices?

Now that the games are on tv, I don't want to even pay that amount, but you're right it seems like we are screwing him over. I'm afraid that one of our SEC games will eventually be played there. We can only hope not....

 

I can't see Arkansas AD giving up revenue like XNA got last week to play us in Arlington. I know a ton of Aggies, including longtime season ticket holders that went once and won't go back.

Vanderbilt would certainly entertain his offer, and Kentucky might. Not seeing anyone else listening.

OU would be a different matter. To play in front of north Texas recruits would be very appealing to them, and getting out of the Dust Bowl is always appealing to their fans.

 

Can't stand Jerry Jones. I've never been in Jerry World, and probably never will go to any event in that stadium. I can see him trying to get the Texas - OU game or Texas - aggy game moved there. The OU game at the Cotton Bowl has been a tradition for more years than I can count and needs to stay put. Texas - aggy game needs to be a home and home game. Screw him and the pig he rode in on.

 

Uh, our game vs TT is an 11:00 am game, and you think we will have a say in where/when we play? Not gonna happen unless of course Sark brings us a dramatic turnaround.

I think worrying about Jerry Jones is silly. If it gives us a national game and a way for us to look good for recruits who cares about stupid Jerry Jones. Silly

Last time I was in the Cotton Bowl... I was thankful I see more games in Jerry World. At least you don't have to wait in line to walk to your seats through a mass of people pushing against one another. The Cotton Bowl is run by folks who either don't care or lack the capacity creatively organize an event. Jerry may be greedy, but he's passionate and hires smart people.

 

Well since I’m a stones throw from Jerry world, I’d love to see UT vs Vandy there every year.
Cheap tix, I’m a homer so when I see UT play, it’s usually against teams I feel they can beat.
