With the win on Thursday, only 103 losses are possible.

And with the win yesterday, they managed to reach 60 wins for the season!

Rangers lose season finale 6-0 and end year 60-102. Bad baseball from start to finish. I am not sanguine that next year will be any better.

Hopefully closer games, but I fear only moderately better.

^Viper, I think you're (unfortunately) correct. Rebuilding is a long-term process, and it's likely to take another two years for the top prospects at High A and AA to be ready to play at the Major-league level. Next season can be a little bit better - and if they get to 70-75 wins, I'd consider that an indicator in the right direction.
And the other indicator - will ownership open the checkbook for some key Free Agents next year? They might - but I'm thinking they would wait another year to give the prospects time to develop before they see what areas they need to spend money.
