Anybody got any reasonable priced tickets. I love my Longhorns, but $100 to see them play Baylor is not in my budget.

Yeah I always get pissed at their prices but we usually go cause it’s a nice venue and sometimes we win. It’s interesting cause if you’re willing to sit on baylor side (I’m not) prices are generally a bit lower.

    Nash.

Several years ago I was gifted my friend's BOR seats in Floyd Casey. I take my kids and we're seated almost under the press box. Two ladies come in and sit next to us and introduce themselves as Grant Teaff's wife and his mother. I'm thinking I will be the most subdued I've ever been at a game. Early in the first quarter a man (also a Regent) seated behind me jumps up and screams, "Way to go Grant; dumbest god damned coach in the conference". Mother Teaff was a delight, but the "neighbors" were hysterical.

Paying any amount of money to go to a facility named after Drayton McLane makes me nauseous.

Similar experiences here Sabre - have gone up for games across multiple sports over the years and am constantly reminded that while they proclaim themselves a religious school, their approach to fandom resembles the "U" in its heyday more than it does anything I've seen or heard at church. It is rather funny to watch knowing how they allegedly act the remaining days of the week.

Funny story Sabre but I think you mean ‘at a place named after Drayton McLane’ not an event, right.
Me, I could care less the name of the stadium and so far no issues with the fans though we’ve won and lost at the times I’ve attended. I do like that my seats, even when in upper level, are closer to the field than my season tickets at DKR.
