RP I admit I hate seeing okies doing the Horns down in my face at the fair or seeing people at other games do it IF there were a way think how cool it would be to see DKR full of Horns Down in defense. Others would then look like the idiots they are . Tv Announcers would have to comment on it. Time to Own our Horns symbol.
Good gosh I have not posted on here in forever but this post is brilliant! Anyone familiar with cattle knows that if a bull is approaching you with head and horns down, you better be moving or praying. Hopefully Sark, Del Conte, et all browse these boards and this gets picked up!

It was a good presser, he says the right things to me, what he’s telling me matches what I see and I believe in his approach to change. Just keep looking for improvements, try not to get wrapped up in what could be or could have been. He has a long term approach to the program and I believe that is the right approach.
Dabo Swinney had a 4-year plan and it worked. They still had the occasional bump in the road. Well, they had 21 losses in between him taking over and the 2012 season when they won a bowl and finished Top-10. But I don't think anyone on this board would say "yeah I'm willing to endure 21 losses... some pretty awful... in order to get there." We'll take it, but we won't say it.
Sark won’t say it but I’ll bet that he would love to help Bijan win the award. Doing so would be great for the program, and great for recruiting.
I agree. When Bevo comes out on the scoreboard for 3rd down he has his horns down and then rips away the screen. Horns down is old, doesn’t bother me. Seems to matter more to the sports reporters.
Don’t disagree, but every time our fans yell “OU sucks” during Texas Fight I kinda feel like we’re just as bad. I miss the days of “Go Horns Go”, or even “Make’em eat ****” from my days on the 40.
No it matters . We can own the whole symbol and honor Bevo. Remember how he lowered his Horns when they pushed the bulldog toward him Or the year at Floyd Casey stadium when Baylor brought the bear down to our end Zone to taunt Bevo. Those horns were down ready to hook'em. Plus more interaction from Fans. If we can learn Horns up We can learn Horns down in defense.
I've owned actual longhorns for years, and when the bulls (Steers are worse!) put horns down, look out! Brilliant idea to put this opponent negativity to rest. Horns down should be motivational!
