Fully VACCINATED Minnesota Vikings player hospitalized with covid. Has trouble breathing.

    Worthless effort.

Biden is a damn liar. He said there would be no vaccine mandates and here we are now with the January 4th mandate set to destroy the US economy once again.
He is destroying the country and should be held accountable.

According to a source, the player is offensive guard Dakota Dozier, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday.

Head coach is 'adamantly' claiming it was not from booster and that it was 'clearly COVID' with some manner of pneumonia. Either is concerning given that, although typically agile for their size, linemen are not exactly what one would normally consider to be a healthy weight.

So a NFL lineman with a ton of extra weight is hospitalized and it's a big deal? If you'd refer back to your notes you will see that obesity is a factor. As a retired high school offensive lineman I think I can say that even the NFL guys have a lot of extra weight (muscle/fat) that they're carrying around even if it's not a "fat" person.

He is yet another data point to show why mandates are utterly useless.

He isn't retired, he is active...still overweight by most standards, but he was fully-vaxxed, something that is supposed to be preventing hospitalizations.

I still find it interesting that few media outlets have picked up the story. This is usually a big banner headline on the sports websites and on places like Twitter...but it isn't a banner and doesn't seem to be 'trending.'

Coming on the heels of the Aaron Rodgers debacle, I would say this shows he had a valid point...

    A. Much like Al Bundy joking that he served his country, he played high school football; I was joking that I was a retired HS lineman. Lighten up. But, hey, mb gonna mb.

    B. I'd say a 300 lb lineman is a data point that one should throw out.

    C. The data is overwhelming that vaccines protect people from hospitalization and death. OVERWHELMING.

The doctor’s explanation of the spike protein as the pathogen rather than the virus certainly explains the numerous amount of adverse reactions. He compare the protein to a poison; the cumulative effect eventually takes its toll on various organs. If your body is in good shape or isn’t immediately damaged, you might go on for several years before developing an autoimmune disease, cancer or the like. Of course the more boosters you receive the more “poison” is created by your body as the boosters tell your body to manufacture spike proteins.
The other message implies that sociopaths exist. If you don’t believe that to be the case, then you can classify this as conspiracy theory. But if you do believe in sociopathy, then everything about the past two years makes sense.

If I heard him proper, the last two years are irrelevant. The real result. The intended result, will be the billions dead. Correct?

So 1918 was due to sociopathy?

Was 1918 the product of an engineered virus?

    Yeah, didn't think so.

When the vaxxed data point is the same as the unvaxxed data point its VERY relative and should not be thrown out. When almost all, percentage wise, of the total deaths vaxxed or not are old and/or overweight why throw this out?

Dakota Dozier is a Practice Squad player out of eligible callups. Unless he formally get's added to the active roster he won't play another down for the Vikings this year.

The only people that care are those that want to say see...fully vaxxed and he's hospitalized knowing full well that nobody has ever said that fully vaccinated can't be hospitalized, especially for a player like Dozier who played at Furman and is now 25lbs heavier than his college weight.

I interpreted as probably hundreds of millions will become chronically ill with various maladies and a vast majority will die early.

The 1918 flu wasn’t bio-engineered by sociopaths trying to reduce world population. Don’t follow the analogy.

Practice squad means he has the SAME effing practice routine as the starters.

You know...the entire point of HAVING what used to be known as a taxi squad.

Why do you believe they are all of a sudden rushing a bunch of contact tracing? Well, besides trying to play the protocol games...

Except, if 70% are vaxxed shouldn't the real ratio be 70/30 vaxxed/unvaxxed in hospital before claiming the data is "very relative"?

You asked why nobody cares. It's because he can't play anymore. He won't impact the betting lines, there is nothing he can do to impact their next game on the field. Most Minnesota fans probably don't know he exists so surely more NFL fans wouldn't know him.

Yes, there is the potential for impact to the starters but fans will only start to care if there is collateral damage from his illness. Other players test positive or in some way can't play.

And yet...there are already discussions about whether the game against the Chargers is going to happen. Yeah, Vegas IS paying attention...you would know that if you listed to Brent's segment about an hour or so ago.

Don't know he exists? You ARE dumber than a box of rocks...he played in 16 games last year. And you can bet that a fanbase as passionate as they have up there knows even the taxi players...

    VERY clear...

    One unvaxxed superstar...doing just fine
One vaxxed taxi player...in the hospital.

Oh, and several OTHER starters who are shelved this week due to positive tests despite *checks notes* having had the magical elixir that is being passed off as a vaccine.

He's a ******* fringe NFL player at this point in his career. There was a lot of debate whether he'd make the roster at all. Dozier is an insurance policy in the event that somebody more important, more valuable gets injured. I get WHY you want to this to be a big issue but it's not unless others test positive. Players have been quietly testing positive and missing games for all teams all season, including vaccinated players. The only difference here is Dakota is unfortunately in the hospital albeit in stable condition. You asked why this wasn't trending on Twitter and I gave you a very rational reason, he's not a current contributor on any roster.

Do you realize that the 'fringe' players are on the same field as the rest of the team all week long, and in the same meeting rooms as the others in their position group?

Do you realize that more than half of that club is now going through extensive contact tracing? Seems a waste for JUST A FRINGE PLAYER...or perhaps he isn't so fringe as you make a taxi player out to be...

    Do you even football?

The reality is we have a stellar datapoint of why all this mandate nonsense is just that- nonsense. The left is up in arms about those of us who don't want this crap in our arms while simultaneously ignoring the increasing numbers of the jabbed who are testing positive, ending up in the hospital and, in some cases, dying.

It is almost as if the 'vaccine' is useless given the handwaving off of the co-morbid conditions the vaxxed have who are hospitalized or died...

At this point, the left should just take the mask off of their totalitarian desire and admit they are upset that America isn't going along with their plan and capitulating to the socialistic nonsense.

Yes and you said to dismiss the vaxxed 300lb lineman statistic because he's 300#. The point stays in the conversation vaxxed or not.

Yes, and multiple teams a week are enduring the same problem and it isn't trending on Twitter unless it's a superstar like Kaaron Rogers. The Seahawks lost Gerald Everatt to Covid protocol a few weeks back and it wasn't trending on Twitter. Yes, it was discussed in Seahawks fan circles because he's an important TE for Seattle. Pete Carroll was asked about it and ultimately upset after Everett's positive test missed some NFL deadline. Still, at no time did it trend on Twitter and that was with a starter caliber player. Dozier wasn't targeted to play this week nor the rest of the season sans injuries on the MN OL. Another player in the Covid protocol after the NFL has had at least 1 player in the protocol every week this season is not news.

There it is. That's why you are upset. You want your platform to scream your viewpoint and there isn't enough talk on Twitter to satiate your need to be heard, pick a few fights and just maybe get banned again from Twitter a 4th time, right? Missed opportunity.

In a world where over 224,000,000 have received at least a dose of vaccine you’re gonna piss and moan about two professional athletes out of a pool of only about 1,800. Nice statistical work!

The biggest problem is if you pass it on to someone who subsequently dies.

    Does that matter?

That is why the government might get involved; in theory, government is there to protect us from each other. The actions of others are regulated in other ways. To say "my body, my choice" is to take the Machiavellian road that life is not fair and if you die, you die.

That kind of real world philosophy is tough for many to swallow. To say it on national TV is even tougher. It invites recklessness and fosters callousness.

    But that's where we are.
