Zack Zillner. I’m going to go out on a limb and say he is the most under appreciated member of this staff! Our full court press has clearly been a staple of Vic’s teams, but he was a KA hire, and has clearly shown he’s one of the best S&C out there! There wasn’t this level of fitness when KA was our a head coach.
Zack Zillner for the W, baby!! :e-hookem::e-hookem::e-hookem:

I’m not going to knock the S&C under Karen - I thought the players who were serious about it showed significant development in their time at Texas. Where most failed to improve was the ‘conditioning’ between their ears - decisions and actions on the court. I looked at the box score for the 1st 2 games for UTSA this season (2 losses to SFA & ACU), 52 combined turnovers. The TO numbers under her watch at Texas got slightly better over time but were the Achilles heel far too often.

I don't know a lot about S&C. But the thing that I like and notice when he shows some of the workouts on Instagram is that he does exercises that translate to basketball movements.

Is there a designated athletic trainer for the team? I remember the person, Heidi "something" (can't recall her last name), was there during previous years and was always with the team at games.

I believe you may be referring to Andrea Hudy who we hired away from Kansas men’s S&C for our men’s basketball program. Zack had actually trained under her in one of his previous positions. When Beard came in he brought his own S&C guy and Andrea went back to UCONN for Gino where she had worked prior to Kansas.
Or you could be referring to Heidi Wlezein was previously our associate athletic trainer last year. She dealt with injuries etc. She left after Sedona Prince claimed Texas had diagnosed her injury incorrectly and was responsible for her medical, and other costs for an injury occurred while she was playing for team USA in the Pan American games. Very nasty claims by the Prince family!

The new athletic trainer for WBB is Rosemary Ragle. She has held the same position for UCONN (1998-2016), the Connecticut Sun and New York Liberty.

When did Rosemary come on board. She’s not listed as part of the coaching staff on the roster page?

She’s listed on the Staff page - it was around the time the new assistants were hired if my memory serves.
