The following turds object to Jewel having a meeting: Sally Yates, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, James Comey and Lisa Page. However, if they do have a meeting, they have requested that super-scum Kevin Clinesmith take notes.

For some reason, Clapper and Brennan are not really comfortable with Jewel speaking out either.

Sounds like outside the presence of a jury it was stipulated that Trump could not authorize citizens to essentially break the law and disrupt the Electoral College proceedings at the Capitol.

A motion in limine is a pretrial motion asking the court to bar a party from introducing evidence or making arguments without first approaching the bench and seeking permission. For example, the prosecutor in the Rittenhouse case made a reference to him not giving a statement to police after the shootings. That violated a pretrial order in limine from the court and a violation that can't be easily cured, because the jury had already heard the reference, which is why the judge tore him a new one.

Entrapment by estoppel is when a defendant tries to get out of prosecution by saying he believed his actions were legal because an official told them they were (or something along those lines - not my area of expertise).

Looks like if the case is being made that anyone was incited to violence at the Capitol because of what Trump said, these rulings make that inadmissible in court.

I do my best thinking there. But, no....

    Just got lucky for once.

It undercuts the Dem Jan 6 investigation. The Jan 6 planned event was stupid and Trump is guilty of supporting it, but other than that, not legally responsible for 150-200 morons.

Hey I don't think pilots are dumb. My grandfather was a pilot, and he was one of the smartest guys I've ever known. Let's put it this way. Your answer is much closer to being right and thorough than I'd be if I tried to explain how to land a plane. I'd say, "ok I know the landing gear has to be down. Is there like a knob or a button for that somewhere?"

If you can tell me how to land a plane, that would be great...for a friend.

Character can't win elections when the media is a house organ for one party, and that party constantly feeds the media distorted tidbits aimed at character assassination.

And it's worth noting that during election season, virtually every ugly thing said about Trump was also said about Bush and Dole as well as Romney and McCain. When it's politically convenient to say nice things about them, the opposition (including the media) will do so. However, when they were a potential obstacle to Democratic power, they were all dangerous and out-of-touch racists, sexists, homophobes, etc. That's a huge reason why we got Trump in the first place.

Not enough evidence yet to say for certain on J6 but that looks to be fishy as well. We'll see.

But is that guy saying he was a Fed who is guilty of entrapment? Coercing people to do what they would not have normally done?

Yes. Multiple people leading the Jan 6 capital charge not arrested, whereas everyone who trespassed given lengthy sentences.

Normally when you see a story beginning with "Person found on a ranch in Arizona", it has a different meaning.

If the press can find him on his own ranch, why can't the feds?

A better question might be, "Do the feds want to find him?"
