Maybe Sabrehorn remembers better than me but I can’t remember a sooner transferring to Texas! I can remember Monte Johnson and Paul Moriarity transferring to OU! Strange times indeed

The days of Avery Brundage are long gone:

All we can hope is that the money is paid within the rules... but I think we know there will always be money under the table paid out. I'm not sure why it would be needed in these days of NIL's but I'm sure if it is needed to win, then the cheating will begin again.

IT, newly offered LB Kobie McKinzie from Lubbock-Cooper will be in Austin this weekend.

They wouldn't be surprised if he shut it down during, or right after, his trip.

    Kobie McKinzie, Lubbock-Cooper, Linebacker

IT reporting a new name to keep in mind for the OL is Seth Martin of Everman, who recently de-committed from TCU.

Coach Coleman visited him yesterday, and he'd like to take a trip to Austin.

    Seth Martin, Everman, Offensive Line

    Per IT

Minnesota transfer OL Curtis Dunlap should be in Austin this weekend
    - they don't expect Texas to pursue Oklahoma transfer TE Austin Stogner

Andre Coleman is reportedly leaving Texas to join BK at LSU, how will this affect recruiting in the immediate window.

IT.said Texas had an in-home visit with OL Neto Umeozulu of Allen on Monday.

Early playing time is something that has really registered with him, and UT's primary competition at the moment is Alabama.

He's turning 18 on December 5th, so they're playing close attention to that date.

QB Devin Brown committed to ohio state. We were never really in it once they offered him.

Must be nice...This is why I laugh when Texas fans think we are 2 years away from competing with the big boys.

Recruiting is like a roulette wheel these days.
Any given team can stack up on any given season.
    Mercenary football. Yuk

And you can think you have a stack and then watch it crumble right before your eyes. Tough when Ala and tOSU can simply swoosh in last minute and get whom they want.,

I think that there should be an amendment to the rules of recruiting.
Alabama, Georgia, ohio state should not be able to get no more than 1 five star and 5 four stars per season

That’s old way of thinking. The school that offers the best tax breaks and loopholes will win the day.

Whomever asked yesterday about Harris and aggie. It looks like Harris is buying what the ags are selling. Playing close to home. The results on the field etc... Unfortunately no good news here.
