So we still have a shot with Devon Campbell and possibly Earnst Greene, Kendrick Law & Larry Turner-Gooden ?
Even with this recruiting good year, they still crashed and burned late in the season, and I predict they will continue that proud tradition.
lets look at Kobies track record before we start quoting him, Committed to TTU , committed to OU, committed to Texas for 10 days, 10 days later he committed to OU? The kid does not strike me as a deep thinker.
One more item on aggy...a bit surprising... QB Calzada..who started most of their games after Kings injury and played pretty well....has entered the transfer portal. Strange world. Guess he knows they will go back to King, but, man... Watch King get hurt again...
Really liked that Murphy vid. He wants to be here. He is skilled. He has confidence. The look in his face as he gazes around DKR seems to say " This is My home" No matter what Maliik. We are proud you are a Horn
The top 4 Rivals recruiting are 'Bama, aggy, Georgia and Texas. All SEC schools. aggy will pass 'Bama as the top rated class when Harris commits as expected.
I hope that the kid actually came up with this on his own and believes everything attributed to him. However until he publicly says he will not take the any Nil payment, the phrase "money talks and BS walks" applies. However money tslks
Does anybody know what the portal does to the academic clock? In the way back, a player had to complete X number hours toward a degree per year. The trick then was to get ‘hurt’ late in spring practice and be forced to withdraw owing to mobility issues. Petition the admin for ‘meaningful progress’ extension. To play in fall while ‘catching up’. Does the portal restart this clock or allow to retake passed courses. My fear is that the portal combined with poorly administered NIL will create a nightmare of team switching.
I love our recruiting class as everyone. My worry, NIL. Nobody in America can compete with oil rich state school alumni with some folks. Texas might lead the pack in available NIL largesse from awlmen. Texas, aTm, Oklahoma, Okie State, LSU have the money, psyche, and football slobber to create a fully ‘pro’-gram. Yet, the good news, if we choose to, we are chairs of that board.
Smells of a script by people who sneak out at night and steal land. That said, I am sure Venables is an o.k. guy, just not a saint. Most successful college coaches have a dark side.
Aggies will go 8-4 (with 2 of those victories over Prairie View and New Mexico St.). It's an Aggie Tradition!
This is a strange situation. I think calzada must have been estranged for some reason or is he doesn't like wiegmann coming in. Many A&&m fans are already promoting wiegmann as the starter. 3 of the best QBs in the nation are out of texas this year and a few other good ones.(i know Quinn reclassified). D Brown(Utah) is elite also.
Still on the board Omari Abor DE Denver Harris, Jacoby Matthews, LTG – DBs Harold Perkins, TJ Dudley, - LBs Devon Campbell, Ernest Greene, OL Evan Stewart, Kendrick Law WR
Considering the quality of this OL class, wonder if the Brockermeyers might still be portal candidates?
I wondered this same thing, if they were to win the title this year, come home and help Texas come all the way back, no doubt, that much beef would perform well enough to compete
If A&M gets Harris, perkins campbell and stewart i am going to commit Harry Carey. I want Campbell but Greene is a taker. Perkins is a huge need. Will be watching these commitments.
I don't think either one of them has seen the field this year? I'm not sure with how many O-linemen we are grabbing that there would be room for them both.
we should all send Manny Diaz Christmas cards, without him sucking so bad we might not have 3 of our OL recruits. Great list, wish more OL were EE's though.
I think A&M can now dangle an elite modern day wrecking crew in front of Perkins. They are stacked already in this class.
