Why aren't we offering Coy Eakin from Stephenville?!?! State championship game vs Austin LBJ...9 CATCHES 187 yds, 3TDs and one rushing TD. 2021 season totals...Over 2000 yds receiving, 31 TDs...I know, I know before someone says so, he has only Tarleton St and FCS schools offering, but seriously how does a guy like this not get more looks?!?!

 

He had a Heckuva day today .. playing both directions !

 

Hey, I think he also had 2 tackles and an interception/ fumble caused AND a rushing TD.

 

Grades, size, off field activities???

I don't know, but are you willing to risk a scholarship on a kid that everyone else has passed on?

His best bet is to walkon at Tech with their new OC, UTSA (his best WRs are graduating). Out of state, look at the two new OCs at Colorado State; Napier has a really good QB in Gainesville. TCU, SMU, Baylor are all cost prohibitive without a scholarship.

 

Kind of reminded me of Whittington in his HS playoff game.

 

Yes, you nailed it! Wouldn't it be nice to have 2 Whittington players on your time. No, I guess not and we wonder why we have sucked the last 12 years because we recruit based on biased recruiting services...

 

Keep an eye on him the next four years and see if he has what it takes at the college level.
