Add @PropJoe to the exception list. I think he was banned at texags at one time. He used to rail about the lack of 5 stars at aggyland. He must have died and gone to heaven this year.

After the Aggies’ Gator Bowl stunt, don’t talk to me about the ‘12th Man’ ever again

Enough about A&M and the ‘12th Man’

I don’t ever want to hear about Texas A&M’s “12th Man” again after the Aggies pulled out of the Gator Bowl because “we just don’t have enough scholarship players available to field a team,” according to head coach Jimbo Fisher. (Dec. 23, 1B, “Texas A&M pulls out of Gator Bowl due to COVID-19”)

If the reason for pulling out of the game was a concern for the welfare and safety of the players, then OK. But to say the reason is a lack of “scholarship players” relegates the “12th Man” to meaningless status and ignores the institution’s football history, dating to Jan. 1, 1922, when a student left the stands to suit up for an injury-depleted Aggies team.

It’s simple- Aggies starting QB hit the portal and Aggie didn’t want a L on their already pedestrian record.
Wake would have beat the Ags, I already picked them in my Bowl Pickem before they pulled this BS.

Agree 100%, surprised LSU hasn't pulled an "aggy" tonight since they only have 45 players.

I'm impressed that LSU is playing in the bowl and really showing up the Aggies on how you compete. The SEC fans are burying A&M for the cowardice move.
I guess the entire world has seen them quit, you can't hide that.

^^^^THIS! He had enough guys to field a team even if they weren't on scholarships. Dumbo Fisher just didn't want to get his *** spanked in a major bowl game the whole country was watching . . . and many of us would have loved it.

Have any football players died from the virus? I think Utah alone has had more players shot and killed than died from the Wuhan, so claiming it's a HSE issue is quitter talk.

ATM wasn't going to be able to field a good team, due to both transfers and the foolish virus protocols, so they quit lest they try playing with a team similar to LSU's make up in their game.
