This Bama QB is not a Heisman Trophy caliber QB. Who paid off the voters for that?

On second thought, maybe just trying to add up a bunch of 3's wasn't the best idea...

This did not age well within the evening. I gotta say it was touching to see Bennett cry at the end.

He’s still crying. Oh well, he led ‘em down the field when he had to. He showed a lot of guts.

Congrats to GA... they waited 41 years since their last NC.

I remember very clearly the incredible joy after waiting 35 years from 1970 until the VY TD delivered a NC for the Horns in 2005.... 35 years of waiting, pain and some close calls...

I wouldn't bet on it. Especially with Bill O'Brien running things.

Yep! As will all the Bama fans. All the illegal shine makers in Alabama already have their stills working overtime.

It's a play on a statement made by long-time Georgia play-by-play announcer Larry Munson after Lindsay Scott's 92 yard catch&run to beat Florida in the closing seconds in 1980. You can Google it for the full statement.

One great defensive stand after another. Best defenses since ours from the early 1980s

Wish Fred Akers was alive to see it

I wanna see a time lapse of all that post-game confetti being swept up off the field.

I suppose the narrative I'm supposed to adhere to is that Georgia is a dominant defensive team. And I won't dispute that. Being down two ace receivers didn't help. But, geez, how many sideway passes did Bill O'Brien call? Just a pathetic game plan, IMO. Not to mention boring as hell.

He does have a plaque or some such nonesense he was handed during his welcome to aggieland presser that declared a non dated national championship.
That had to be one of the most uncomfortable and weird situations I have seen for a press conference.
Just really sad in a weird way. The look on Jimbos face was like…. What did I just get myself involved in?B52B0C4D-0BD9-46F7-BF00-FBA675AE8B60.jpeg

Well- it’s a SEC player or a non SEC QB who runs a 7 WR set, so there that.
Also you can only vote for a player who’s team is in the top 5.
I detest the Heisman. Sad I used to enjoy it, now it’s become a spectacle of media hype and poorly dressed candidates.

Boring, really? Most of these games turn into routs, like Bama vs Ohio St last year.I thought it was a great game. Maybe not UT/USC or OSU/Miami, but fun to watch anyway.
