Damn, he was in the House in 1983, and he's only 67 now? He was just a friggin kid when he started.

I'm no Jim Cooper fan, but I looked at what they're doing with Nashville in Tennessee's redistricting, and it's pretty rough. It reminds me of what Texas did to Austin back in '03.

Texas GOP gave Dan Crenshaw most of Kevin Brady’s old district (The Woodlands) after redistricting, thus protecting his seat.

Bad move. Crenshaw is quickly being corrupted by the DC Sewer.

As are they all. Term limits. Deez need not comment.

I know, it's awesome. Just one Democrat seat in the state - the slums of Memphis, which no one else would want anyway.

Don't mention that name - even the thought of it shows you hate Jewish people, according to the media.

Thought not quite sure how talking about the political influence of this convicted criminal, and non-practicing Jew, who got his start with his uncle working in a group aligned with the German National Socialists makes you yourself anti-Jewish, but well, there it is.

Crenshaw fell in love with the image of himself in DC. Being on Saturday Night Live, dressing up in superhero costumes. None of which are why he was elected, or even ran on.

He gets told a dozen times a day how great and wonderful he is, and if he just didn't have to deal with those people back in the district he lives in, the job would be perfect.

Much like race-based hiring, it is perfectly fine when the left does it...

How blue is Omar's district? Could she be upset by a conservative Muslim?

How many Somalis in her district would not vote for Omar again?

Not sure what it'll look like after redistricting, but right now it's D+26. That's pretty safe. And keep in mind that it's 63 percent white. It's not Somalis or even black Americans electing Omar. It's white liberals. They're not voting for a conservative Muslim.

Damn people in Minneapolis are stupid. The FBI says that Omar's district is the terrorism recruitment capital in the country.
I forgot they also voted for Keith Ellison .

Yep, and as bad as Keith Ellison was, they found a way to do worse. Just wait until Nancy Pelosi retires. Same thing will happen. They will choose Chesa Boudin or someone like that to replace her.

It’s possible that every Dem on the ticket loses in 2022 except maybe 20% of the House seats.

They'd have to flip Senate seats in California, Hawaii, New York, Connecticut, Oregon, Washington, and Illinois for that to be happen. It might be a good night, but it won't be that good.

Plus I think you’re missing the short memory of the typical American voter. If the trend of dropping mandates etc continues to grow by the time 9 months pass Dems will have won back voters. Just watch, 9 months in this society is an eternity.

Dropping the mandates is not ALL that needs to be dropped...EVERY 'rona-related mandate needs to be gone AND prices are going to need to be dropping. I don't see that happening in just a few months...

Pumps near the house are now sporting threes all the way across and diesel is pushing a price starting with a 4 at one truck stop in north Houston...I can only imagine what the ones near Willis and New Waverley are at now...

The RNC's censure of Cheney and Kinzinger was just dumb.

High Inflation will hang around the necks of the incumbent party. That will not likely turn around in 7-8 months. It will likely accelerate.

You don't give credence to something that is essentially a show trial that is intended to damage republicans. They deserve it.

Not really. Those two idiots are damaging our party more than that censure ever will.

The censure was dumb as is going out and saying all the investigations you plan if given the power is. Just shut up and let the democrats hang themselves.
