Yep and KSU failed to capitalize on the Cunane fouls

Big graphic on ND freshman PG Olivia Myles recording the first triple-double by a freshman in tournament history. Impressive but my first thought was:

    Don’t care, got Rori.

NC State is about to run K-State out of the gym, have outscored them 23-7 in the 2nd (1:53 until half).

I am wearing red today. Rooting for Ohio State to win at LSU, and don't mind NC State beating KSU. The only team in the Bridgeport regional who can end UConn's super long consecutive Final Four run is NC State; so, rooting for them to lose today doesn't do much good long-term as the Bridgeport winner matches up with the Spokane regional winner in the Final Four.'

And, in the event OU beats Notre Dame tonight, they would play the winner of NC State / KSU next weekend. Cannot fathom OU in the Elite 8 if they win a Sweet 16 game against KSU.

Who watched Georgia vs Iowa State last night? I was not able to watch.

I really thought Georgia had a legitimate chance to win; they played very well against Dayton, while ISU struggled against UT-Arlington and came close to losing. Yet, ISU blew out Georgia. UGa is bigger, stronger, quicker, and more athletic than ISU. Yet, ISU ran away with that win.

I'm beginning to believe that these young head coaches (OU, Tech, UGa, etc.) just don't teach defense.

I watched until it was obvious ISU was going to win. UGA let ISU do what they wanted to do on offense and didn’t have the outside shooters to keep pace.

I guess I was thinking of Matharu’s early season struggles with consistency and poor body language. I now remember the tomato analogy and that’s funny. Matharu has so much potential. it’s just harnessing it. She never met a shot she didn’t like. My early impressions were that she could just kill the opponent with 3’s. But could just as easily shoot you out of a game. Somewhere along the way, Schaefer has convinced her that she doesn’t have to let it fly every time she touches it. Recent games show her basketball IQ has really matured. Still can still rip it, but sometimes will do other things that will help the team. It just seems the light bulb just came on. Similar for Moore. Hope that continues. Recently one of the coaches….think it was Fairfield’s….said that staying in Matharu’s face was a key part of their game planning. And she still hit em. Her microwave shooting just could be the key to team doing something special. I’m pulling for her.

I agree. I've enjoyed listening to her in press conferences. She's spontaneous, honest and often witty. And not afraid of a little repartee with Coach. I think their's has been an interesting relationship.

I am definitely concerned about Rori. She's taken a lot of pounding, given the way she plays and how long she's in the game. There's not a player on the team whose absence would affect us like hers. Having said that, I trust that Vic is managing this. Ice baths! I played sports in high school but never took an ice bath. Sounds like pure torture. Regarding our shooting, I think anyone who has seen us would have been shocked at our shooting (64%?). I know I was.

She got a little bruised in the Friday game. I think she’ll be fine for the next Friday game.

ND hung 35 points at OU . . . in the 1st qtr to lead 35-12. They are gonna hang a hundred on the Sooners, win or lose tonight.

I hope you're right. If it's just bruising, then 4 days should help. On the other hand, it sounds like practices are at least as physical as the actual games.

Wow, the Big 12 is taking a bruising today. Hate to see Oklahoma and Kansas State end their seasons with such lopsided losses. Hard to watch.

I didn't think things could get any better after yesterday! ND now up 60-25 at the half at OU! I kid you not.

The funniest part was the ESPN announcer who states, "The good news is that OU returns just about everyone next season". :D

Flipped over to Belmont-Tennessee. Only need to watch the officiating for about 2-3 minutes to know this is being played in Knoxville.

I know some people get upset when we talk about a coach’s fashion or hair - so those people should keep scrolling.
Kim Mulkey’s outfit looks like she borrowed it from a drag queen who bought it at a thrift store which acquired it from a children’s dance studio that went of of business. In 1987.

Not that we haven't had our share of offensive struggles in some games, but neither LSU nor Ohio State shooting well today. OSU up 15-8 after one quarter in Baton Rouge
