As much as our competitors hate Texas it looks like the sports media does too. Let's put Texas at #6 just so half way through the season so we can start writing articles about how once again Texas falls short of expectations. Let's see, new QB and a defense that ranked about 121st out of 120 teams last season, what a &^%*ing joke. Just like that team there from colij stayshun not in the top 3. That's a travistee when everone nows therrey the besstesst.
UTSA doesn't scare anyone. The best team they beat last season was WKU, and that was by a score. The moment they played a ranked team in the bowl (SDSU, who was #24 in the final poll and #53 in the Sagarin ratings), they got crushed. The only thing they have going for them outside of their star RB is a mish-mash of transfer players who don't have any unique film playing together, hence, taking some defenses by surprise. I think we'll beat them worse than we beat ULL last year.
