We already know the liberal explanation for that. If there wasn't systemic racism in every institution, black hate crime would be lower. Therefore, white hate crime would be higher.

 

But.....but...if you don't see the problem of racism, and just focus on these crooked mfers, you are missing the point....

 

Meh...they didn't get MY money. But then again, I am not gullible to fall for grifters playing on 'white guilt' (which is where they ADMIT much of the money came from).

White supremacy as a major political force has been ******** basically our entire adult lives - not because it doesn't exist but because it held no real power. When we see big companies publicly donating money to white supremacist organizations, then I'll get worried about them. When school curriculum and teacher training departments start bringing in Richard Spencer to advise them, then I'll get worried about them.

 

That would qualify as “systemic racism”, just like quotas, DEI and CRT.

To be honest, I have thought many times in the past of how to raise money in the name or pursuit of something which was technically not illegal (knowing there are a lot of stupid people out there). Damn if BLM didn’t perfect this or stumbled upon it unexpectedly. My hat is off to them.

 

What's funny about this is that the gullibles who donated to BLM are many of the same people who think religious observance or tithing to a church is dumb.

Excellent article. Black hate crime percentage is almost double the percentage of blacks in the population, and white hate crime percentage is less that the percentage of whites in the population. This line from the article made me think of OUBubba:

"hate crime" needs to be erased from our lexicon and certainly from our prosecution efforts. We made a huge mistake when we allowed this special type of crime-modifier. Dem's seized upon this to ramp up their rhetoric and they are using it to prop up their efforts to label many as white supremacist. There may indeed be assaults that are motivated primarily by racism but these should still be prosecuted based on the assault and not the racism. The Dem's and DHS are using "hate crimes" as justification to label and pursue "white supremacy" as a political tool, not as a justice tool.

 

I've voiced this ever since the crap was introduced into the law and into the courtroom. Adding a thought-element is just something else that must be proven up and leaves grounds for appeal.

A murder is a murder...prosecute it AS a murder and let the sanction fall where it may. If there is a past history of animus, then they can introduce it in the punishment phase of the trial and let the jury do its thing...

 

I've never liked the hate crime idea. Guy #1 kills girlfriend because she cheats. Guy #2 kills neighbor because he's a different race. I'm supposed to view Guy #2 as worse which implies Guy#1 is better!?!

Note: I'm not Guy #1 or Guy #2 - I'm guy #4321. Waaaay different.

Chatter around the office yesterday that the building would largely be closed Monday due to the holiday. I asked WHAT holiday and was informed 'juneteenth,' and that it was a federal holiday.

How in the hell did a State-specific event get turned into a federal effing holiday to be celebrated the day AFTER the actual day? Ironically, it appears that the State of Texas (you know, the State where the notion of Juneteenth originated) has it on the calendar but since it falls on a weekend, too bad...show up on Monday. No three day weekend for them...

 

Someone remind me. Did Lincoln free all the slaves with Emancipation proclamation?
