After watching JT Cook's highlight reel, the dude has serious separation skills and speed to burn. He is going to be a fun one to watch for 3 seasons

Is there a limit on how many times a fella can portal?

Not sure, but once a week seems to be achievable.

Just ask Bru or Joshua Moore.
Between them I think they have 7 enrollments in two years.
    Bru, TX, USC, TX, TN
Moore, TX, Tech, SMU, back in portal.
These 20 year olds don’t know what I know now; and like them didn’t know at 20… no matter where you go, you still wake up to yourself. Look inwards first.

It’ll be interesting to see if this story has legs. If I’m not mistaken, Gerry Hamilton of On3 broke the story. If that’s true, I believe that Hamilton has a decent reputation.

This is what one site mentioned:

“Addison is going to go pro after this year, but he is stuck at USC. All NCAA sports now have a one-time transfer exception (baseball, football, men’s and women’s basketball and men’s ice hockey only got this right last April), meaning student-athletes can transfer to another school once without sitting out for a season (barring any individual conferences rules).”

The Jordan Addison situation could be an interesting NIL test case if he chooses to make an issue of it. And frankly, I hope he does because I would like to see how it plays out.

In essence, who promised him what, and were those promises consistent with the rules affecting NIL deals? Additionally, when were the promises made? That’s a big question. And finally, did those promises constitute a contract? If so, it would seem that there would be a basis for legal action if he could prove that the promises made have not been kept.

If he made a decision to transfer based on promises that are not being honored, could he not seek remedy from the NCAA, void his transfer, seek an exception and the opportunity to play elsewhere?

    Lots of unknowns.

At what time is the "transfer" considered "done"?

    1) Verbal commitment
    2) Written commitment
    3) When he attends first classes
    4) When he gets cash (not that anyone will admit to it)

Mr Addison, you likely got served a non-binding LOI. Next time, bring an attorney, a financial adviser, and a tax consultant. Good luck!

    cnb,

What am I missing? He's 300+ pounds, threw the shot a whopping 39 feet, and ran a 5.4 forty. What does he bench? 145

Yeah, that's gotta be a misprint. I first benched 300 dead weight in HS at 168 lbs, and I was a QB.

    OC,

When I read that info on Hall, my first two thoughts were:

    1) Remembering Mark Lumkin, RB & K out of Lake Charles HS weighing in about 180 and leading the nation in the discus with tosses over 165 and the shot over 50.

    2) Puppy Dog Madden must be this kid's S&C coach.

I think maybe something with Twitter is breaking this page on mobile

I'm going to delete the posts with tweets embedded to see if that helps

Send him a bill for down time and lost opportunity. No one can put a price on the loss of an opportunity to make fun of OU and/or aTm.

It's like sex, once you miss or pass one, that's one you can NEVER makeup.
