I can only remember the Aggies getting two five star QBs over the last 60 years.

    1) Got fed up being lied to and transferred to OU, won the Hype$man, and a first round pick.

    2) Wound up having sex with the girlfriends of multiple OL, who subsequently could be seen "slipping" or "missing" their blocks on pass plays.

Most of them speak of his soft B12 competition.
Unless he beats out three 5 and 4 star QBs in front of him he will most likely never play in the B12.

Five-star CB Javien Toviano of Arlington Martin told IT today he's closing in on a decision, and his timeline is looking like early August to mid September.

He just so happened to mention playing against Lake Travis on ESPN for the season opener.

He will visit somewhere that last weekend of July, and he's not revealing where, but he did mention the Texas coaches are his best relationships along with being great developers, he believes Texas has the best players in the country and that Arch Madness has been crazy to watch as a recruit.

    Javien Toviano, Martin, Cornerback

One was a HS coach of mine. His first and middle names were Jack Craig. Us guys referred to him as The Reverend JC. He was a good coach and a really good man.

The other was a coach on the boy's side at the small High School I taught (and coached girls) at. I never heard him cuss (though he may have - I wasn't on the football practice field) and he didn't need to. We were employed at a 2AA school and he had graduated from it and gone on to a SWC player of the year award and an NBA/CBA career. The boys looked at him like a demi-god. Cussing wasn't necessary to get their attention and hold it.

My HS Varsity coach was Graham Harrell's (TTU) granddad. I never heard him say a bad word. He was a good man.

Noticed TJ Shanahan's tweet on the 50 uncommitted list.
"Thank you to the Texas A&M Aggies for a great weekend in College Station. Showed a lot of love to my family and I". Hmmmm, for me to notice!:rolleyes1:

Graham's grandad, Jake, was a good man. I never knew Graham.

If you haven’t seen it, here’s a nice interview with Sydir Mitchell. There’s a lot to like about this young man. Really good energy.

    Sounds a little bitter.

I Always remember Antonio Cromartie's Hard Knocks recitation of his children, a lot of whom were 3 at the time.

You'd be bitter too, if your career arc got you marooned in a festering crap-hole like Malfunction Junction.

When you say your prayers, you should thank God for that one. Most of his teammates at Ennis and Lubbock feel the same. I was surprised that Leach took him, and even more surprised that Leach got a "team" effort with him. (See also the first half of the Gator Bowl and compare it to the second half after the *** chewing)

Accidently sent reply to "Report". Oops, sorry.

Not surprised by your comments. Not everyone in the family was as "upstanding" as was Grandpa Harrell. He (Grandpa) was generally very positive & I never heard him curse in practice, games or anywhere else.

Interesting that we're on the list. He bailed on us a couple of months ago and we haven't been recruiting him since.
Apparently he has been in contact since Manning committed in the hopes of re engaging with the coaching staff. He is viewed as a guard and that ship may have sailed with the commitments of Chatman and Cujoe
There is talk of a possible late July visit
