A couple of differences:

1) They rub a rock rather than their balls

2) Finding a fan of the Sons of Klem with all their teeth is a rare breed

 

If consideration is given to Clemson, FSU & GT will quickly apply. It would be a political coup if Chris was allowed to "sponsor" Clemson & FSU. That would send the first salvo across the bow that Texas is a major player and has more stroke than Florida or Georgia, our two biggest academic rivals in the SEC.

Sure, Vandy has academics, but they have no political strength in the SEC.

 

Is there a cap on tiger mascots per conference? SEC is pretty cat heavy.

Clemson would make it five of the feline variety.

 

Mascots are not the problem. The problem is whether or not the conference wants to ***** slap South Carolina with the realization that Florida & Georgia could be next. Could be bunches of lawsuits.
