Good observation, Pomspoms. We do need to keep in mind that developing OL players is a process - they don't blossom overnight. Patience may be in order - and patience is not the long suit of Longhorn fans.

Update from TFB today re Baxter Still a Texas, a&m, Miami trio at the top for him. Texas holds a lead, but Miami has replaced aggy as #2 in the line up. Miami is making a strong push. TFB still feels this one goes to the good guys.
If it's Hale, Texas would have the #7, 10, and 13 wide receivers in the nation according to 247. That's a solid haul.
We still need a stud DE and LB… Badly. The longer we don’t get a commitment from Anthony Hill, the less optimistic I become.

If UT does well vs Bama and OU… I said “well” whatever that entails, I think UT could pick up a flip or two. I think Saban cashes in before the class of ‘23 would graduate. We can thank Jimbo for helping him say, screw this soap opera. But Saban becomes a UT analyst just to screw with Jimmy.
