Not unless she moves to Oklahoma. She'd be pretty hot there. Of course, so would most orangutans.

Those guys reject Trump pretty strongly, and especially French is overly critical and self-righteous to conservative Christians. I think a degree of that sentiment is fine. I've expressed some of it myself, but he spent about four years doing basically nothing but that. If the Left is trying to have dudes shower with teenaged girls, trying to be destroy the police, and forcing gender ideology and rank anti-Americanism in public schools and you largely ignore that to scold your own side because they backed a guy who was a sawed-off Wilt Chamberlain back in the '80s and '90s, your priorities are in the wrong place.

However, even French didn't suddenly turn into a big social liberal. His views on policy are basically the same as they've always been, for better or for worse. In a matter of days, Rubin went from being a William F. Buckley conservative to being a Keith Olbermann start-up kit, and that is indefensible and clearly self-serving. Why would an honest person (from either side, frankly) ever trust her again? She is a conclusively-established fraud.

No I got all the references including throwing some in back of truck. I just wonder if it could be seen as in poor taste by Hispanics.

Only if they are stupid and don't see that it actually highlights who was in bad taste and stupid with her comments.

Plus, do any Hispanics read Babylon Bee?

    :fiestanana:

Edit: Plus plus, this is from July 16. They have had plenty of time to already be offended.

I have seen some things from him recently justifying the LGBT agenda. I think he went against Trump for moral reasons, but also because of his stances on immigration and war. I consider French to be on the wrong side of those issues. Early on he would write about biblical morality and manhood. Now not so much.

Up to their necks by draining their resources going after Trump the past 6 years. Easy to see what the fbi's priority is

Like I said 3 years ago, it's time to blow that org up. Tear it down, start over

I haven't seen this, but to be honest, I've mostly tuned him out in the last couple of years. The Christian bashing just became tiresome. It's about all he wrote about under Trump. He just belabored it way too much.

With the IRS there is NO reasonable explanation. None.

I've had to deal with the IRS, and luckily, most of the people have been decent to work with. However, even when they are decent to work with, the process is a stressful pain-in-the-***, and I have a JD and a BS in Accounting (with an emphasis on tax). It is still stressful. Furthermore, when you get an agent who is as *******, there isn't a lot you can meaningfully do. That agent is a federal employee. He or she isn't going anywhere.

And let's recall something. Though it isn't true that wealthy taxpayers are audited literally every year like many think, they are audited often enough that they are prepared with tax accountants and lawyers who are tedious record keepers and ready to advocate for them. When a real tax accountant (not some jake-leg at H&R Block but the real thing) is doing your taxes, the potential for audits, tax court litigation, and even criminal tax evasion charges are built into his methods of keeping and filing financial and tax records. He's more than ready for an audit. It's still a pain in the *** when it happens, but it's usually not going to turn the wealthy person's life upside down. It's middle and upper middle-class people (who don't have an army of tax accountants and lawyers) that really dread the audit. Unless they fork out big money, they are defenseless, and the federal government is the most powerful (and when it wants to be, the most ruthless) creditor in the world.

Could I be convinced that the reason for the IRS expansion is to audit wealthy taxpayers more regularly? Sure, if we were talking about a modest increase, but that isn't what's happening. We're slightly more than doubling the size of the agency. You don't do that to go after wealthy taxpayers a little harder. You do that to dramatically expand the class of taxpayers who are frequently audited. People in the middle class will feel this a lot more than guys like Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos will.

    **** is gonna get ugly.

I received notice from the IRS that I owed money from my last return. There was no explanation, but there was a warning I would be subject to ongoing interest and liens on my property. I called the IRS only to get a message that I should wait a few weeks to call back as they were very busy. So my only option was to pay the $1200 versus getting a CPA/Attorney to fight it. Yes, we need 87,000 more armed IRS agents.

    Well iis
At least you didn't have an armed IRS agent break down your door and use deadly force.

One my audits I had an agent with prostate cancer and took 4 weeks off for surgery. I had to pay interest on all that time, truth. Definitely eliminated my feelings of sympathy.

Apparently the new IRS agents should be more ready to kill citizens than police offices must be to protect children in school.
