I scored three tickets to south endzone living room box seats. I've been looking for more info on them but it seems they aren't really advertised. I found one UT web page with one short paragraph that explains there are 8 seats per box with food, drinks and service. When I search South endzone all I find is field club info. Does anyone have any other info on these or heard details? It seems pretty cool and mysterious.

    Vol,
I thought this was a description of where you watch games at home.
Sounds cool. Can't wait for details.

After a little more googling its part of the Myers-Dodds legacy club. I thought it was like a small suite....protected from the rain.... but they form the top part of the longhorn in the south endzone with club access. They call it a premium experience so I'll post updates.

So I can't figure out how to add pics from my phone but this is pretty amazing. My seating area is 4 seats on a bench, padded with two TVs where we can watch whatever we want. It is outdoors but there are two AC vents blowing on us. :headbang:

Everything is full service. I have a stocked bar refrigerator at my seat. A server to get food or whatever I want. The food is amazing. Beef tenderloin, pork loin, cocktail shrimp, etc. I'll tell ya if I had the cash to buy season tix here I would in a heartbeat.

The game day desk is right next to me. I'll see if I can sneak into the background with it during halftime.

Since we didn't hear much from you it must have been an epic experience.
How was it watching from the end zone?

I will sum it up like this. The view from the endzone kind of sucked, but the experience from the food (i talked about earlier), the seating/space and service made me not really worry about that.

We could hear the full force of the crowd from East, West and North as well as the band. That was loud and exciting. Its totally different from any other place in the stadium.

The staff was 100% over the top friendly and accomodating to anything we wanted. I've been in other club seats several times in both the north endzone and in the Texas Club on the East side. The environment is very nice, but this is much better. Other club spaces are crowded and not as well maintained. This was planned in a way where there aren't heavy crowds inside the club. As we finished a plate of food someone was there to whisk it away.

In my seats I was in my own box of four which was our own space and I see why it was called a living room box. Ice chest, stocked refrigerator with water, topo Chico, beer, etc. There were two tv's I could watch whatever I wanted and AC vents blowing on us. Leg room galore and I kicked my feet up on the counter in front.

To top it off, my server was smoking hot and friendly. What the seats lack in view and vantage point, it 5x more than makes up in everything else. I said it earlier, but if I won the lottery I'd buy seats here. Back in the Ricky Williams era I attended a game in a suite. That was like watching a game from my living room. This felt like a blend between suite and sitting in a regular seat with premium service.

I rate it an A+++ experience and would highly recommend.

Luck I suppose. I was on stub hub Friday night looking for seats and these were on there. For whatever reason they were $100 each so I snagged them not really knowing what I was getting but based on description I was hoping it was cool. I won that lottery.

Yeah, that might have been a little weird trying to get that.
