Being Texas used to mean just showing up to win. Bigger, faster talent would wear down teams filled with 2 & 3* players. When we were up 31-17 late in the 3rd Saturday there just didn't seem to be that 'feel' that Texas was about to pour it on and finish strong. I'm not saying they quit, because you don't do what they did to tie it up and go to OT by quitting. I wish I could make sense of the Alabama game. Play like that last Saturday and tceh would'nt have crossed midfield. And UTSA might've been done at a FG with an effort like that.

I'm just not sure a returning RS frosh with a bad shoulder is going to do much for an uninspired defense. We'll see...

I've got it 34-27 with similar logic. I expect the leaders (at least we have some this season) to come out angry and play with a chip on their shoulder.
And I do see Ewers sparking the team a bit.
I also am a big believer that what happens on one side of the ball often affects the other and a spark is a spark regardless of from where it originates.
Won't be perfect on either side...but think the home team gets the W here.
