Anyone have any ideas for parking? All garages appear full. Got tickets just no parking.. Uber is $72 from Georgetown
The secret is that parking at the Bullock Texas State History Museum is free after it officially closes at 5:00. So, they just leave the gates up and you park under the museum.
The men's BB team is playing #2 Gonzaga at 8:30 on Wednesday. It's possible those folks have bought up parking spaces nearby. This is also the reason that the volleyball game was moved from it's traditional starting time at 7:00 to 6:00.
Been a long time since I lived around campus, but you may want to park on the street in Hyde Park (north of 35th St) and take the bus to campus (Speedway). The busses don’t run frequently after 7 pm so you may want to check the schedule.
There are public garages showing up on my Park Whiz app - One on University Ave ($9), One on Whitis ($11) and Dobie Garage ($6). All within a 10 minute walk to the gym.
