I'm rootin' for TCU. Not only in this game, but for them to "GO-ALL-THE-WAY!"

I have to pull for them. One of our kids went there. Looking at these wholesome cheerleaders, I see why he liked it so much.

Distant 2nd fav team to the Horns. Growing up in FW, TCU always had hot women.

In my youth, my Grandfather had season tickets to TCU games. He and my UT grad Dad sat on 45 yard line. I sat in the North end zone with other young knuckleheads catching live extra points and FG's.

Frogs were mostly horrible in those days 1965-1968.

 

I remember the fall 1966 UT vs. TCU game when the Horns visited Amon G. Carter Stadium. Sitting the North End Zone, I could walk over to where the Horns exited Visitors lockeroom and walk down the steps to the field.

At 13, I was in AWE seeing Bill Bradley, Chris Gilbert, Corby Robinson & DKR walk 5 feet in front of me down to the field.

IIRC, Horns won tight game 13-3 in 1966.

 

I thought 67 was in Austin. 68 at Amon Carter when Chris ran for about 300 yards and nobody in the stands saw it because the fans and sideline were glued to reports from three little transistor radios keeping up with the Baylor Tech game at Floyd Casey.

 

Some guy a few minutes ago trying to score some tickets to the game.

 

TCU's receivers sure are getting handsy with the defenders.

 

So it’s legal for frog receiver to stiff arm and hold the db off while the ball is in the air to get separation for the catch. Ksu is going to get the Texas treatment today by the little 12 officials.

Since I'm a Dallas native, I didn't really know TCU existed until I went to UT. They had (have?) zero followers east of DFW Airport. That being said, screw TCU and go Mildcats.

 

All TCU so far but I agree the receivers are getting away with pushing off.

KSU caused way more heartache fro Texas than TCU ever did. Not sure why you hold that sentiment. When Texas goes sec, I will be a TCU fan.

But, not trying to change your mind.

 

Hmm, way too early to tell, but is TCU playing flat and bought in to their hype? KSU came to play it looks like.

 

Don't get me wrong. I hate KSU too, but they are the lesser of two evils at this point. F the big 12 and their systematic screw job of Texas and Oklahoma. I don't want any of them in the playoff if it is not us.

 

I agree with Mike. Also Im not buying the Sonny Dykes miracle. Hes a career 57% coach who is having a very good year with somebody elses team but his history says it cant last.

 

Imagine if half the Texas offense showed up for the TCU game.

 

I love FW, though I’ve never lived there. So go Frogs. Glad there was no targeting call earlier, that was NOT targeting.

 

TCU offense was hot early but starting to sputter now.

 

TCU can put up points, but just about everybody (except us) can score on them also.

 

Lots of TCU fans in my family, a niece currently attending and alum as well.

So, go Frogs. But, they better get it together.

 

KSU just took the lead 14-7.

 

TCU offense about as good as they looked against Texas. Except we had 5 sacks by now

 

Part of this is the most misguided view I’ve ever heard.

 

How bout that, Cats are borrowing our TCU defensive scheme. As long as they don’t use our offense, they’re gonna win.
