This kid not only led his high school to the state 7A (highest division) state championship at QB but he was also named the game MVP.

Thompson Warriors have become the powerhouse of Alabama high school football unseating rival Hoover High who was the reigning powerhouse for several years. Thompson has won 4 of the last 5 state championships and I think the only one they lost was when Tua's younger brother Taulia Tagovailoa was their QB.

I can't imagine the expectations placed on this kid for the next 4 years when he is in high school. On the positive side, he can probably date the hot Sr Cheerleaders now as an 8th grader.

How 8th grade QB Trent Seaborn dominated the Alabama high school football 7A championship

Didn't Northshore win the State Championship with their current QB when he was a 9th grader? Not sure eighth graders are eligible at any level in Texas

In some schools, 18 is young for a ninth grader.
