. What curtles my blood is this… At a business meeting, church, wedding or funeral… Some presenter mentions attending ATM and you always get a smattering of “ Whoop”. I think that’s classless and immature. So Sabre, tell me seriously,,, any Whoop from the congregation on their embarrassing situation? Remind your preacher that ATM almost upset a ranked App State. Make him feel better.
It’s not just my church, but I’ve heard others say that aggy is the only fan base that wears their school insignia at church.
I can see your church parking lot in my mind - full of maroon goober mobiles with all the aggy stickers plastered all over them to show their spirit. On Sundays after a win - the pews are adorned with aggy swag. Tell me I’m wrong.
Damn near a full recruiting class in itself. Time to fire up the aggy BMD LLC factory and buy ‘em some new talent.
Rings, watches, belts, shirts, shoes, pants, wallets, shirts, crocs, shoes, ear rings….I’ve seen it all.
I’m no math major, but I reckon that’s damn near 25% of their scholarship roster. That’s a swift kick to the twigs and berries.
NR, There are a large number of young (21-45) couples that all went to A&M and attend the 11 AM service. Yes, any mention of A&M brings "whoops" from that part of the sanctuary. (They all sit together, probably 300-500). Part of it is because the pastor started the largest Bible study group at A&M when he was a student there. It is still going strong. The opening of the school year each August is "back to school Sunday", where everyone wears their school colors. There is a group of older ladies that wear their letter jackets from Spring Branch HS. Lots of colleges represented, but Aggies outnumber all others. Surprisingly small number of Baylor people for a big Baptist church.
Again, I have heard of this being done at other churches, but never have I heard a pastor saying, “Ags, this is the only day wearing your school gear is allowed”.
mc, Gregg has never said that. I fear some of those guys would have to watch online because they would have nothing to wear.
Wow what a **** show. 21 transfers. They are going to suck so so bad next year. And for a long time, I think. The best part is it’s a total self-own. Quintessential aggy self-own. They finally did to themselves what the ncaa never had the balls to do. talk about stepping on your own swinging dick.
By far their best, most productive player - this one hurts the most for them, for sure. As Dandy Don would croon, “Turn out the lights, the party’s over…” Titanic-esque ending to the season. Whoops!!
Aggie regents ignored my advice to extend Jimbo's contract after the impressive win over LSU? How can you commit your playing career to a school only committed to its head coach through the 2031 season?
I call it the OL Sarge uniform of the day. ATM cap, Aggie Tshirt, Aggie insignia mid calf socks, Jorts, maroon athletic shoes.
OK true confessions time - I wear a UT shirt to church every Sunday after a game, *especially* if we lose. I always say, "Anyone can wear the colors after a win." Now mind you, it's a polo shirt with a Longhorn on the left chest, not a t-shirt or anything like that. I must be known for it because I forgot one Sunday this year and a lady pointed out to me I was not wearing orange.
Judging from posters on Texags, they were expecting this, just as many here anticipate Bijan leaving. Like Vince and D'onta did They have Weigman, who I think is going to be a major qb and lots of talented leftovers They are not over just yet
Stop trying to ruin my black panther party. Texas A&M - 21, mostly starters or on the 2 deep Ish Harris, LB Ryan Campbell, WR Denver Harris, CB (outstanding driving skills) Tarian Lee, LB Andre White, LB Marcus Burris, DL Donell Harris, DE Josh Moten, CB Dallas Walker, DL LJ Johnson, RB Eli Stowers, QB Tunmise Adeleye, DL/DE PJ Williams, OL Blake Smith, TE Myles Jones, CB Elijah Jeudy, DL Haynes King, QB Brian George, DB Chase Lane, WR Caden Davis, K Alan Guerrieri, p
For as bad as 21 players into the portal looks it could have been a lot worse. Keeping Stewart and Wiegmann was huge for aggy. They will be right back challenging for third in the SEC west next year.
I met Wiegman when he was in ninth grade. His aunt was a healthcare provider for me. Kid was died in the wool Aggie and had always been. Got to see him play a couple of times at Bridgeland. He has a chance to be their best QB ever - notice I said best QB, not most talented (those are Mosley & Murray). He won't be worth a damn laying up in St Joseph's, so they have to get him a supporting cast.
