8-10 FT’s is nice. Getting out rebounded on the defensive glass. Need to dial in, settle down and hit more jumpers.
Beards no middle defense, or whatever it’s called, is absolutely stifling. Good grief, we’re denying everything and Illinois is forcing. 17 turnovers, big men in foul trouble, total momentum swing.

Rice was really out of control at the end of regulation. Botched his assignment on the 3-pointer and then the weird foul at a distance. Wouldn't have mattered if our 90% FT shooter could have hit the front end on the 1-and-1.
That was a Shaka Smart last play. Iso ball with 4 people standing around on the perimeter. Mind boggling.

Man I can’t watch anymore. I didn’t expect us to go undefeated but damn, Beard is drunk I guess. Offense will be the death of us if he can’t come up with something better than trying to go one on one all day.
Love Cunningham but yeah, he’s a liability on offense, especially with the trash Beard is trying to run.
Hunter misses key FT, Rice fouls w 7 secs in regulation. We gave it away in regulation. Too many easy basket misses during the game. Offense overall hasn’t looked good tonight or vs Creighton
Illinois didn’t even shoot well but I guess they didn’t have to when you know the other team is going to run backyard offense.
Illinois bigs too athletic for him. He hasn’t been able to stay in front of anyone defensively. Other players have to switch help and eventually it leads to an open shot.
