Except for the years the Horns win it all, it seems like every time we lose, it’s to a team that goes to the championship game. This year will be no different.

And another #1 seed goes down on their home floor as San Diego took the 5th Set 15-9 over Stanford. All Regional Finals went to 5 Sets except Texas/OSU. There was a lot of conversation that SD should have gotten the #1 seed so they got the final word on that. No doubt SD will be a crowd favorite in Omaha, so that’s a factor that goes against the Longhorns. No Big 10 schools made the semifinals for the first time in 20 years. No ACC school has ever made the Final, but that will change this year. I’d love to be able to be in Omaha
Stanford going down helps our Learfield Cup standings. All of our fall sports have done better than last year: soccer, x country, football and volleyball. Need to keep it up for the winter sports: basketball, indoor track and swimming/diving.

Just watched Stanford vs SD. The Toreros have a damn good team...one of the best defensive teams I've seen. They are NOT to be taken lightly. I'm very happy we have a week to prepare for them.
Yes, but obviously things can change throughout a season. USD looked pretty good, but I was more impressed with Pitt. Both Pitt and Wiscy looked very good. I thought all of Texas, Wiscy, Pitt, OSU and USD looked better than Louisville. So that probably means Louisville will win it all.
Teams that get this far are good. But I think if we play our best we are the best team. The NC is not going to be given to us. We have to take it. GO GIRLS! GO TAKE IT! YOU CAN DO IT!

The leaky roof was women's basketball @ Jackson State. They were supposed to play at 11:00 a.m., but had to move to a different facility so played at 2:00 p.m. Texas won handily.
