I do not think our bigs defend the 3 pt line.

Like she said, size matters. They have it.

Cant really sugarcoat this one, yes this was a road game in a very tough Big XII and yes Tech is never an easy win in Lubbock and yes this was their season making win since they have nothing else really left to play for so Texas got their A Plus effort of the year, but this was a bad loss against a team Texas needed to beat if it was going to win the conference and get a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

I said I would take 3-2 over the five games that included 3 road games and 2 home games and culminates in OU this Saturday but I had anticipated losing both in Kansas and winning in Lubbock and had upped that to a 4-1 stretch. Now the Horns need to win Saturday and go at least 2-2 over a ridiculously hard final 4 game stretch to get to 12 conference wins and likely secure a 2 or 3 seed.

Terry cant seem to motivate this team. Too many games we dig ourselves in a hole and try to scrape back . I hope we look around after the season and try to upgrade the coaching staff.

Another player with an out of body experience against Texas. Look at the game stats versus the season stats (especially 3-pt % and FT %).

When they are jacking up guarded, off balance three pointers and banking multiple ones in, you know it just wasn't your night. **** luck happens.

It's a little frustrating. And if you checked the numbers he also committed no fouls or had any turnovers. He became John Stockton and Stephen Curry all at once.

Last year Beard put our best defender, Ramey, on the opponent’s best shooter. It worked and Ramey always held his man below his season average.
Hunter was defensive star last year. Terry should have had Hunter in Harmon’s face from the jump. In his face, denying him the ball etc.
I think Terry has shown that he is deficit in managing the opening 20 minutes. Why is our team outplayed in the first half repeatedly. Looking confused, a step behind, out of sync.

Rice couldn’t bail the Horns out last night. And against an inferior opponent like ttu, he shouldn’t have to.

Watched a little of 'Zona play this past weekend just to see Ramey.

He was his usual outstanding on the ball defender. In addition, he hit his ifirst 2 treys and finished 3 of 5 from 3.

Really hated to see him transfer but it was probably the best move fpr him to get more offensive playing time.

Still remember how Ramey was the main reason we edged KU last year. Self drew up a play to their All American guard but Ramey would not allow them to get the inbound pass to him and had to go to someone else that threw up a brick.

I also do not buy the excuse that we just caught a hot team, our defense had a lot to do with that. BON agrees.
