Texas Men wins 2022 NCAA Indoor Track National Champs

Texas finished 2nd in the relay, so I think they won it. Women run later today.

 

Looks like women will finish 2nd because Florida finished top 2 in triple jump and 1st in pentathlon.

 

Women finished 2nd behind Florida. If the triple jump and pentathlon athletes for Texas finished 3rd instead of 6th in each contest, I think Texas ties Florida.

2023 Indoor Track championships will be decided today for men and women. Hook’em!

 

Women finished #2 behind Arkansas - only 4 points behind. Arky finished #2 in the mile - just one example where Texas did not place and if it had, was the difference between #1 and #2.

The men still have major races coming up. Texas likely finishes just inside top 10.
