Just remember, that's water vapor (i.e. steam) in that "scary picture", not smoke and pollutants.

In fact, building new ones will tend to reduce the amount of pollutants spewed into the atmosphere.

Many on the Right give Emanuel Macron a lot of crap, and I understand why. He has made some bad moves. However, he is not a Justin Trudeau-type garbage human being with no redeeming qualities. He left the Socialist Party because it was too far left. Fiscally, he's definitely conservative by European standards. He's "greenish," but he's not a lunatic pushing to get rid of fossil fuels with nothing to replace them.

Believe it or not a new to the world design lab nuclear reactor is being built at Abilene Christian University. First lab reactor in the US in 30 years. It will be a molten salt reactor. The development will go into developing the most thermally efficient salt and the equipment to best handle, convey, and exchange heat with it,

Molten salt reactors are inherently safe because the heat carrier isn't super critical steam which only exists at extremely high pressures. The molten salt is the heat carrier. Fuel is uranium but I think a little different grade than is commonly produced today.

The research and science is there, and it's been there for a long time. The NRC is ultra-cautious with anything different or new. As long as 20-30 years ago, pebble bed modular reactors were on the drawing board and moving forward towards permitting. Helium or other gases were to be the coolant. I think South Africa permitted one, but it was never completed. They may have run out of money, I don't know. In theory, it would be the safest nuke plant of all, provided that core geometry was maintained.

So voters don't care about climate policy. However climate policy is at the forefront of everything the government, the financial sector, and large corporations do.

So tell me again that we are a democracy.

voters do care about climate. Milloy is a "journalist" that likes to cherry pick his data just like the other idiots that have an agenda.

This statement is BS. ....."Recall only 1% of "Likely US Voters" prioritized climate in a July 2022 NYTimes poll." It is only true if you limit the word "prioritize" to mean it is your top and only priority. upload_2023-3-15_14-58-1.png

If you do an estimate using the numbers on your poll that comes out to 63% not caring about the climate or not much. But it is the highest priority of the US government and military and banking and public education, etc. Tell me how that is real democracy?

I suppose if you deep fried them until they were almost black you could be assured of killing all pathogens, but there's no guarantees. Plus, you could contaminate your kitchen just having them on the counter.

Interesting adjunct point to that Frankenstein aspect is transgenderism.
If we take what occurs naturally in nature as normal , males born males are the norm, and anything else is an oddity rare to nature then there appears to be no scientific explanation for the sudden meteoric increase in children transgenderism
Could there be an outside force influencing children AND parents?

And to finish the tie to Frankenstein mutilating children's bodies will inevitably go terribly wrong
