America will see white flight for the next 20 years. New York, Chicago and San Fran will be just like Detroit in the 1980’s.

 

Agree that they'll have population losses, but I don't think it'll necessarily be a "white flight." I think it'll be a non-crazy people flight. There's already a bit of a "Third Great Migration" of blacks back to the South. In 30 years, I think the big cities will be a mix of drug-ridden bums (disproportionately black but overall a mixed group) and rich, white liberals who can afford to evade big city problems - basically like they are now but to an even greater extent. They'll just descend into lunacy.

 

Nashville is slowly becoming like Austin. It’s been a liberal city for a long time, but it’s starting to experience the same issues. Cars are broken into every night throughout the city if not in a garage. The homeless population is growing and becoming a noticeable problem in public parks.

Now they are seeing attacks on tourists in downtown. But the liberals just shrug their shoulders and try to think how to explain it and make it easier for criminals.
