Watching Zeke and Zonk on the LHN while drinking a glass of red wine!

I don't drink but still love the Zeke/Zonk combo. Could I get a cheeseburger and a Coke?

We are very lucky to have them. I sure hope they get to continue once we go to the SEC.

Zeke = Greg Swindell; Zonk = Keith Moreland
Keith's nickname comes from former Miami Dolphins fullback Larry Csonka (Keith was apparently hard to bring down in the 'water football' games his minor league teams played in the hotel pools). Not sure where "Zeke" comes from, anyone else know?

I learn something new about baseball every single game I listen to those guys...

It's kinda wonky. Swindell told the story a while back on The Horn to Craig Way. When he started playing HS baseball in Houston, his older brother, Corky, was on the team. His older brother was called "Cork". That later morphed into "Zork". So, when Greg joined the team, since he was Zork's little brother, he was dubbed "Zeke".

Me too. Of course, often times I can't even tell if the pitch was a slider or a curveball...

As a fan base, we've been very blessed to have these two Longhorns and former MLB stars calling our games on the LHN.

It depends on what the $EC tells ESPN to do. In a fair world everything Texas would be broadcast on ESPN+ with announcers who know Texas (basically moving Texas from LHN to ESPN+). I don't see that happening as until 2026 or so the $EC will ride hard on Texas just to show who is boss.

I don't know about that. They've just married a trophy bride, they'll want to show her off.
