Sounds like the Federal government is the enemy of the American people. We should start acting like it.
You could make the argument that the FBI do their dirty things to keep American safe (arrest the worst of the worse or trap folks more likely to commit serious crime), but then the perps get sent to the corrupted and politicized DOJ for sentencing. Methinks it’s the DOJ that is more guilty of abuse than the FBI.
I know, but for the FBI, there is some level of plausible deniability to say we set up these traps to catch bad guys, but then it gets over-politicized by dems and their DOJ. If the dems didn’t lie or use these arrests for political purposes, would the right care so much? Probably not.
I’m tired of hearing “there are lots of good people in the FBI.” If so, they should be resigning in droves. The FBI is a despicable arm of the DNC.
The FBI prosecuted a soft coup against Trump. They knowingly lied to FISA judges. All to derail the administration of a democratically elected President because they didn't like his politics. Any good men in the FBI can go do their good work in other orgs.

For a long time, the "good people" were the career agents and officers (meaning the non-political appointees). Well, I suspect that the career ranks within the DC office have been captured by political interests. It probably happened gradually and then went full partisan hackery under Obama. It isn't that they're unqualified. It's that they have poor character.

Remarkable how something that should be a fine and perhaps a night in jail can somehow become a prison sentence because you're a terrorist.
It sucks even more when corrupt judges abuse the system like this. Seriously, you're better off burning a city down then walking into the capital supposedly uninvited.
But that was my point. It's corruption. But it is a specific type of corruption. These courts are treating citizens like the actual terrorists. They justified keeping terrorists in jail and torturing them for national security purposes. The same logic is being used on the J6 protesters. Remember that the next time a politician proposes to do something to "bad guys" out there because at some point they will apply the same idea to those they consider "bad guys" within our own borders.
