They play tomorrow if aggy loses tonight. But I agree Stanford will be favored tomorrow

Stanford may have the edge today but aggy can put up a crap ton of runs and in a game like today where neither team has any pitching left that cant be overlooked.

The committee will make the decision, but I don't see how they could justify awarding the Super to A&M over Texas if aggy wins today. The bids will be the same, so not an issue. Texas was ranked slightly higher going in to the regionals, was a co-champion of its conference, went through the regional with no losses, and beat A&M head-to-head. The only thing A&M has going for them is Stanford seeded one spot higher than Miami and they made it to the championship game of the SEC SEC SEC. Probably a moot point anyway

My concern. $EC beats Big XII in any close or tie situation where ESPN has influence.

The best part is everyone keeps saying hurricane season started 5 days ago. Oh really? Then why are they staying home?!? LOL

    Shortest hurricane season ever: June 1, 2023 - June 4, 2023

Stanford wins the Directors Cup. (I think.)

    Also, yes, we play Stanford.

If we beat Stanford and then women's track places high enough we may still win the cup.

I believe local radio said Stanford has an 8 point lead but if we win the regional and qualify for the world series that's worth 9 points so we would win.

You still have to take into consideration T&F this weekend in Austin.

It’s all a mystery. They could be giving Texas the points already for T&F. Who knows?

We won't know points for T&F until we see how we place.

Stanford men finished 3rd. Texas men finished outside the top 10. Texas women close out today. Presuming Texas women finish 3rd, then yes it comes down to baseball. I didn’t realize Stanford men were that good. I presume folks figured last week that the Stanford men and Texas women cancel each other out and thus baseball is the determining factor.

The issue is this year's Men's team was not very good. Horrible coaching (coaching and recruiting). CdC will probably let it slide, but we could be in for a rough patch that will only get worse in the $EC.

The women are in first place right now with 5 events left. The trees are so far down the list that Texas will finish at least 4 or 5 places above them.
