It's amazing we can find illegals to give them a hand out, but yet can't find them when their resident status is involved....go figure. Maybe the FED can set up rebate cash machines in the Emergency Rooms.

Moreover, on XM this morning I listened to the treasurer for the AFL-CIO make the case that the stimulus is a real opportunity to change the economy of the nation. He argued for extending unemployment benefits, tripling the food stamp program and using federal funds to bail out states like California that are cutting welfare programs because of their strange desire to actually bring their budget into balance. According to Mark Everson, commissioner of the IRS for 2003 there were 7.3 million mismatched W-2s. 75% of mismatched W-2's were for income of less than 10,000. there apparently was no way to track how many of those mismatched w-2s filed received refunds or EITC. This does not address people who faked Docs to get ITINs so those returns wouldn't have triggered any flags The IRS simply doesn't have any way or legal authority to prevent this not to mention manpower. The problems are so enormous it boggles the mind that there are so many people savvy enough and evil enough to game US on so many levels, If these are just hard working decent people who only want a better life how do you explain why they are working so hard to steal from us?

Brisket good for that hospital, where ever it is, that seems to go against the norm in getting illegals to pay for their ER care. According to the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons, as of 2005 84 California hospitals have closed due largely to uncollected revenue from illegal aliens.( I couldn't find Texas or florida stats , does anyone think it only happens in Calif?) The J.A.P.S. estimates that illegal aliens represent at least 25% of America's uninsured. Would you call the J.A. P.S. Boogeymen? No one is saying there are not legals who scam the system too so to use that as justification for illegals to do it is silly.

EITC_ will get another rebate under this stimulus plan. while people who did pay in but make more than whatever figure is decided on will get nothing the IRS has no way to verify who is legal and who is not
