so my friend is getting married and having a bachelorette/lingerie shower. how do i pick out a piece of lingerie for her without knowing her size? do i ask her, her size? or should this info be on the invitation? idk!
Ask somebody who has probably hooked up with her. Her boyfriend, her boyfriends roomate or if she is from oklahoma, her brother or father.
I’ll try to give you a real answer since I’m actually putting on the same type of bachelorette party for a friend this weekend. Our invitations had the size listed (in detail). Most of the invitations I’ve seen for lingerie parties have had the size, but if not, don’t be afraid to ask the bride to be. If you do have to guess, you can always go with a one piece number…or just get handcuffs Anything fun will always work even if it doesn’t end up really fitting. Usually the size is listed on the invitation. But I don't see how you can go wrong with buying a size medium and including a gift receipt. Or another safe bet is to get Hanky Pankys, their thongs are one size fits all, and everyone I know likes them.
If you think she's a medium, get a small and include a gift receipt, that way she will feel better about herself thinking that you think she is smaller than she is, and she can exchange it for a larger size if needed. If I don't know a size, I usually buy edible body cream or lickable massage oils. Are you in Austin? There is a store on South Lamar called 365 days 365 ways and they have all kinds of fun stuff from kama sutra books to dildos to edible creams and massages oils to sex dice and more. I love that place. It all depends on how well you know this girl and what you think she'd be into. I went to a bachelorette party the other weekend and we gave the girl lingerie, a spa certificate, a tube of flavored "oral pleasure gel," and the DVD "Screw My Husband Please volume 5."

You can always buy some huge size on clearance. If she's getting married, she'll grow into it soon anyway.
Buy what you think is close and include a gift receipt. You can always go with a one piece and usually be on the safe side. Also, look into some cute short pajama shorts and top.
Ask the person who's throwing the party. They ought to know. But if all else fails, give me a call. I'll be happy to go by and measure her personally.
Over the years, I had grown pretty damn amazing at guessing sizes. Now that I'm engaged... that is a worthless talent.
This is your lucky day. I am an expert in this field. Buy Extra Small, or if she is extra large, buy Small. When she asks what is up, just say she looks small to you! (Include the receipt) That will keep your friend thinkng fondly of you for years. Guys, the same thing will work for the "lady" you are buying for too......
