If your candidate does not win the nomination, how likely is it that you will vote for the party nominee? If Hillary somehow wins the nomination I will be writing in Obama on my ballot.

Hillary isnt going to win the nomination - so I dont have to worry about it

but if some meteor struck Obama's bus or something and it was hillary - there is no way in hell I would vote for her

    nor McCain either

I'm certain I can't bring myself to vote for Hillary.

I don't think I can vote for McCain, though, either. For me, he truly just represents a continuation of the last 7 years, and the Republicans have blown it with this former staunch supporter of theirs.

Write in or Libertarian for me, in such an event, perhaps.

I would never vote for Clinton. Ever.

And to be honest, I'd have a hard time voting for an Obama/Clinton ticket although I would probably hold my nose and do it.

I am a Clinton lackey from way back. There will be an Obama sign in my front yard as soon as he is the nominee. Until then I will remain a Clinton lackey.

I would vote for either. I originally supported Clinton before switching to the Obama camp about a year ago.

I would not vote for Hillary if she cheated in some way to get the nomination.
At this point it appears that this is the only way that she will win.
She can't overcome the pledged delegate lead and that is what is used to decide the nomination.

If Clinton is the nominee I will not vote for her.
I will stay home, as much as it pain's me to say that because I would rather have Clinton than McCain any day, I just couldn't come to terms with the fact that she stole it.

I would have to think long and hard about ever voting for president again.

I will vote for either. Why you ask? Because I'm a pragmatist, not a freaking loser. Unfortunately, I think the Democratic party has become a party of losers. If we could mobilize like the Republicans and realize the greater good of acting together, maybe we'd get a president in the White House every once in a while.

I hope the Nadar Dems are proud of what they've accomplished. Sure, the country's ****** because we've now suffered through a regime run by a complete monkey, but at least they were able stroke their monstrous egos in the voting booth.

Hillary and Obama have very similar platforms. Voting for one and not the other pretty much means you don't give a **** about this country.

I support Hillary and I think she would be a better president, is a better candidate for the general, and has run a better campaign, but if the superdelgates give the nomination to Obama I will support him in the general.

Obama and Clinton are similar on the issues and I think it is very important for the middle class that many of the policies Clinton and Obama are promoting be championed by a president and implemented.

I will not, under any circumstances vote for Hillary Clinton. If she's the nominee I'll vote for McCain, and have no regrets about it.

I will not vote for HRC personally. I will, however, vote wholeheartedly straight Dem, from which of course she would benefit.

And I would urge all my fellow Dems to do the same if for some reason HRC is the nominee.

I'd vote for Clinton. Probably not give her money, but I'd vote for her. Iraq and the DoJ can't afford another GOP Admin.

The notion Hillary has run a better campaign than Obama is flat hilarious

her campaign from Mark Penn to money problems to overall message and organization has been a mess - and many analysts have stated this

I'll brood about it for a couple of months, but I'll come around and vote for her. It'd be nice if she/they campaigned to disaffected Dems for a week or so.

If she wins, I'll put that parental block on my TV's news channels. Maybe that'll make it OK.

I will vote for the Dem nominee.....there's no way I'm wasting my vote and help in any way shape or form in giving the presidency to the GOP. No.*******.Way.

And I do not understand the bitterness that causes one to shoot themselves in the foot just because your candidate didn't make it to the general no matter the circumstance. I'm an Obama supporter, but will most definitely vote for HRC if she's on the ballot. This election is too important to be a crying *****. Save that assinine **** for the County Clerk election or somesuch.

    zzzz-

Obama's agenda advances a substantial investment in alternative energy and mandates for reduced consumption.

As I've said on other threads, a boom is beginning in alternative fuels and efficiency, as you would expect since widespread technology adoption always drives economic expansion.

Imagine that 20 years ago the government had not only not supported networked computing research, or worse put legislative obstacles in the path of adoption. That's pretty much where we are right now.

Anyway you take that, plus the more circumspect attitude towards trade deals involving consumer products, food and durable goods, particularly vis-a-vis china, and it adds up to a generate strategy towards our country being a producer nation of key, growing product and service categories 10 years from now, as opposed to a consumer nation of key product categories, which we are becoming. I'd like to see the balance of trade move back into our favor, not be weakening the currency, but by leading key production categories.

I am not by any means a protectionist. It's not a binary question. But there's a reason the first thing the Japanese did when they invaded Harbin was ship the factories to Japan. And while they lost the war, they became the dominant economic power in Asia for 40 years afterward, and more to the point, China didn't become an economic power on it's own until it found a way to gain some trade leverage- not just a market, but the means to serve one.

Bozo, I was really directing my comments about bitterness to those who are staying home or writing in their losing candidate...."those likely to vote Democrat in general". You make some good points, but it's still all about Supreme Court nominees for me and I'm not giving those to the GOP without a fight.
