In the first "Death Wish" movie, Jeff Golblum is one of the hoods that kills Bronson's wife. Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs (black guy on Welcome Back Kotter) plays a mugger that gets killed by Bronson. Sonia Manzano (Maria on Sesame Street) plays a grocery clerk. The guy that plays the DA in this movie (Fred J. Scollay) plays Judge Andrew Barsky on the "Law and Order" TV series. Christopher Guest and Olympia Dukakis play cops.
And while we're at it, In "Death Wish II", Laurence Fishburne plays one of the hoods. He's one of the guys that rapes the daughter. He's the one that gets shot in the face through the boom box in the shootout in the park where the NY cop (Vincent Gardenia) gets killed. And.... There's a remake of the first "Death Wish" movie in the works..
Since I'm on a "Death Wish" kick... On to "Death Wish III", which sucks. The main bad guy (with the funky reverse mohawk), is the same guy that played Chuck Cunningham (Richie's older brother) on "Happy Days". One of the hoods in "DWIII" is Alex Winter, aka "Bill" of "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" Marina Sirtis ("Counselor Deanna Troi" of "Star Trek, the Next Generation" fame) plays "Maria", Spoiler she gets raped and killed.
In Apocalypse Now, "Clean", the kid who gets killed on the patrol boat, is played by a young Laurence Fishburne.
