I was thinking more along the lines of Oklahoma Tornado's but for many victims of the uniquitous storms they get it would maybe hit too close to mobile home.
they screwed that up. Outlaws, Drillers, Durants would've been better. Thunder sounds like a wnba or arena league team.
Clay Bennett went to all of that trouble to come up with this weak name? Calling them the Bennetts would be better.
I still think "Manufactured Housing" fits that team to a T. If they've gotta be named after a weather condition that you see up there a lot, how about the OKC Sand Storm?
Come to think of it....most NBA team names are dumb...they just happened to be around so long that we think of them as being normal. But this is kind of dumb considering there is already a team named the Oklahoma Thunder... The Link
I like the Double Wides, or Dust Devils. Dirt Devils would be good also, but there is probably some copyright infringement with the vacuum cleaner even though they both suck.
dude that Oklahoma Thunder team is in the WFL, whatever that is. I'm sure there are little league teams all over the place with the exact same names as pro franchises.
