SPOILER...tune in if you are up as it is on as I type this. Okay, it's a commercial but it is coming back. Russia has beaten us 9 times in a row recently. US is up two sets to nothing as they gutted out two come from behind wins. This is fun to watch. The Russians are badasses and the tallest or biggest team. We are not scrubs either. Tune in if you are up.
This was scripted, right? I mean, c'mon. Wow sums it about up. There is no way I plan on missing the gold medal game. Glad you guys got to watch too. That was so rewarding.
That was a great match. I barely made it through. My eyes were so tired. Man. USA VBall...I don't wanna say anything else. No jinxes!
1) I have not been watching much of these Olympic games before a few days ago. 2) Wednesday night I went out, drank too much, returned home about 4:00am, made pasta, made drunk posts, watched random Tae Kwan Do at ~6:15am and then got about 1 1/2 sleep before starting my teaching schedule Thursday morning at 8:30am. 3) I turned on the TV Argentina time ~2:00am (I should have been in bed) and started watching. 4) After the 2nd set (is that what they're called), I went to wash my dishes, soccer stuff, and get ready for bed. If the game was on, then we didn't finish them off in 3. If it was over, then we won. 5) I stayed up until ~4:00am (or after?) watching USA vs. USSR^2. They are tall. Maxim Michaelov is tall. He is good. He can serve. In the 4th & 5th set our top servers really liked serving into the net or long on their first serves. (I, on the other hand, did not like that.) It's nice to be the Soviets at anything these days.
CORRECTION: beat, Beat, BEAT the beet eatin' Soviets. Beat Beat Beat Beat I would change it, but then l00p's post wouldn't make sense.
Just looked on NBC's brilliant website, & best I can tell is they are not televising the women's gold-medal match except on Telemundo, & the men's match will only partially be shown Sunday before closing ceremonies. I would definitely appreciate being proven wrong in this case...
