The Link The Dallas Cowboys are discussing with the Detroit Lions a trade for wide receiver Roy Williams, a team source told ESPN.com Tuesday. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believes Williams is a game-breaker who provides an immediate boost to a faltering offense without quarterback Tony Romo and views him as a potential long-term solution as the eventual replacement for aging Terrell Owens, according to another high-ranking Cowboys source.

PLEASE make this trade! I have Roy W in my fantasy league and he's basically worthless, no fault of his own. ******* Detroit Lions just need to fold that franchise. Worst in sports. Did anyone see on Sunday the Detroit QB run out of the endzone like it was nothing? Apparently he doesn't know the rules of football. Most QB are aware that if you run out of the endzone it's a safety, Detroit's QB was just running around back there and went way outta bounds. Pretty funny actually. f**k the Lions.
This would be a dream come true for me!!! Jerry finally sees that Longhorn players can make a difference. Whether Romo is back at QB or someone else, there would be so many weapons to go to- Witten, Owens, Good Roy, Felix Jones, Barber. Offense from Hell!!!
I'm torn. Love the good Roy, and would be so happy for him to get out of Detriot. But, hate the Cowboys.
I'm pretty sure Dallas isn't going to give up TO, MB3, Witten, or Romo to get Roy, but who else would Detroit want? Also, not that I wouldn't love having him on Dallas, but the main problem with their offense right now is the abominable pass protection. They need to trade for a pass-blocking lineman or a 3rd down back or something more than they need another WR. They could use a couple of defensive backs too.
