Was ACORN mentioned specifically? How many organizations were at that meeting? How does feel about McCain respond to him speaking at an ACORN rally in 2006?
And what exactly is the problem with ACORN? I still haven't read about any fraud. The thread on this board specifically about ACORN debunks yet another McCain hail mary.
ACORN, like any well-funded and gigantic volunteer-driven organization, has done some great things and some stupid things. They should get credit for the former, and punished for the latter. Painting the organization as some sinister force behind the Obama campaign ignores reality and is, therefore, dumb.
ACORN has been affiliated with both parties. they pay people to register votes. it's not voter fraud if it's only a registration. Tony Romo will not vote in Navada so it's not voter fraud. you can "register" 100's of fakes but you can't determain who the fakes would even vote for cause they can't vote.
Why do you think acorn does this again and again? For shits and giggles? For fun? Why are they primarily active in battleground states? Why do they dump thousands of signatures on voter boards and then expect them to sort them out and confirm them just before the deadlines? The goal is to muddle the voter rolls so much and cause busy work so that the real fraud can go undetected. ACORN isn't a small time charity that can't get their act together. They have a mission to deliver elections to their allies and the invalid voting applications are a vital step in that process.
Are the Islamist Terrorists going to lose influence as a result of ACORN running the country? Which should we hate worse?
Hey give the lil' wizard his props! Hell when you can't talk about the economy you are sort of forced to put up ******** by default aren't you? No need to even click on the link as the Wizard's reputation for non-accuracy and childishness is pretty well established isn't it? Lemme Guess... Acorn is not mentioned at all? Sort of like his "dems own (insert lie here) where his links don;t talk about Dems. Like I said it's tough when you are a McCain worshipper, and you can't talk about the most important issues of the day because it makes you candidate lose by an even larger margin. So you try and build a mountain out of an acorn.
