Hey y'all. I used to post as Fightin' Horn II, but I changed out my computer and could not remember my password, and the e-mail account I had is closed. Anyway, it is fascinating to see how the world is reacting to Obama's election. It appears the French love us again.
Of course the socialist are happy that one of their own was elected, because I'm really concerned how happy France is with our president. Glad their happy, when almost half of America is not.
Also, the predictions of Obama facing tough challenges. The truce in Southern Israel was broken today. The Link and Russia is now blaming the US openly for all the world's economic ills, and is moving missiles to near Poland. The Link I am trying to get information on what is going on in the world today and all cnn.com has is the elation and celebration of Obama. So sorry for the Fox only links.
I honestly don't understand the fascination with how the world views us. F them. The problem with Americans is a short memory. We broke away from Europe because we didn't like the way they governed. But now, we're supposed to hope they like us? Give me a break.
Well, maybe Obama can sit down and discuss things with Putin. I'm sure Putin will see it Obama's way, and everything will be fine. No need to put military pressure on Russia.
This Sally Field mentality 'oh you guys really like me' is pathetic. I hope that Obama has balls and isn't a 'read the polls' pres like Clinton.
Well, then we should push for a one-world government. If we can't live without them, we should all join up and unite and have peace forever. I believe in sovereignty and the U.S. should bow to no other government nor the U.N. We have a bigger economy and bigger aircraft carriers. Yes, I know, I'm sooooooo unenlightened.
They like that we went ahead and voted in one side of the same coin of socialism we've been voting into office for a century. Their governments like the model, too. It's great for government.
There sure are a lot of people who think it is still 1945, but those days are over. McCain represented this line of thinking. It is way past time to join the community of nations and use diplomacy once in a while to solve problems.
France should never dictate american policy. The have been a world also ran since the fall of Napoleon, yet they still hold this view of themselves as a world power. F the french, everyone else not so much.
When Steel Shank travels internationally (which is quite often, mind you), he wears a "f**k you, I'm an American" t-shirt.
Because the whole world peace thing has worked so well throughout history. The naivety of some people astounds me. They are oblivious that there are actually evil people in the world intent on harming others.
